I have no doubt, my second D4 will be XP-G2 (green of course). nichia is hot….hot!!!
I think I’ll get a green XP. To tell the difference I’ll have to chuck one up in the lathe and make it my own.
Just arrived… HL MT02… my first multi 18650 cell light…
BOOM
I love that color, nice anodized
For the best 2017 flashlight, I have no doubt….one of the nominated must be the Emisar D4!!
I was close to buying both the (non-rechargeable) S1 & S2 on the last sale. I restrained pretty hard. But lost control on the D4…
219C, XP-G2 S4 5D, 219C
Robert you have a very cool play area to explore………………love it!
Wanted to try out the Philips luxeon T hi cri, so another ZL arrived…….sc62d. The other want was the 320lm high, yes you read correct. One click 320lm, useful all round level for general work tasks. Over 3hrs at 320lm, no step downs or 9hrs of 145lm which is also super useful for the application in mind.
Finally i have decided for the SC63w, but I will buy also a black clip for it….
about anodized: seems more beautiful the SC62 and the SC52 than this new SC63 and SC5 MK II…. dont you think?
Great! I really like the 4500k xhp35, nice tint, nice powerful floody beam in a super compact light. Regarding ano, all subjective and from my 3 ZL’s they do vary. The sc63w is the darkest and picks up light easy(reflect/shiny). The sc5c is more mat, sc62d is light in comparison. I actually like them all and glad of the different shades tbh, the sc63w does catch my eye the most though………….i really like the dark green on that sample. It may vary batch to batch, dont know much on their process and whats involved.
Here is another shot
I do like the different shades so would not change any of the lights so far, actually prefer it :+1:
My next ZL is looking to be the sc600fd neutral(xhp50) with the frosted (flood) lens……….after that i think i will just wait for the mk4 and see what reports come in.
Thanks for this shot!
I love my SC52 and SC62 anodized colour and “feeling”, the SC5 mK II is a little dark for my taste, and your SC63 seems as “very solid” colour, I think that old are beautiful than this…. but I will need see with my eyes …for my final opinion
:+1: I am sure you will like it, even at 1st you may not be taken in……………in time the dark green will draw you in
Y’all are going to make me buy a D4…the green one looks so nice…
You dont have one already…………………
This is the light to have for 2017. :cowboy_hat_face:
Emisar D4 Nichia led
Where did you get it?
These $5 Glaree AAA are really nice lights. “Similar” to Thrunite. Twisty head and can be taken apart. L, M, H and a couple quick twists to get Hidden strobe. Comes with pocket clip that can be used in either direction and clipped on hat brim as a headlight. Also Keychain with C-clip and spare O-ring. I have swapped several over to Nichia 219BT 4000K But I bet a 319AT would be awesome for brightness… I have some ordered. Well worth $5 and free Prime shipping. USe Code; 59OFF2SD Amazon GLAREE…
