Yeah I’m still around, shocked to realize that I’ve actually been into this hobby for quite a number of years already (and spent A LOT), but I am not as active as before anymore due to my hectic work and also some changes in life priority.
Mind to share what’s your new hobby?
I bought some batteries from Gearbest too but I seldom use my lights nowadays, but it’s true that Gearbest rocks nowadays by being able to ship batteries, and ship them fast!
Thousands of BLF members probably went through this admittedly logical reasoning and held their horses. On a flashlight enthusiast forum.
Many of them spent hundreds on tacticool knives they will never need for more than a $11 Opinel would accomplish(almost guilty of that myself).
Even more spent thousands on firearm hobbyist stuff, even body armor, they’re never going to need outside of their backyard operator life because they’re obese with back problems and not going to be battlefield worthy should their wildest zombie apocalypse fears realize(definitely guilty on that one).
Too many spent or are going to spend all their disposable income on a nice car or truck. Probably not really that nice, but one that once was in a teenage fantasy.
Probably more than that have spent or will spend or have been enslaved for the rest of their lives for a nice house they never really liked and will lose by divorce theft. Be it $100k, $2M or whatever suits their location, local expenses and income level, many will have done just that. More will follow no matter how much the more experienced try to warn them.
Meanwhile, spending more than $100 on a legendary handheld gigathrower sounds like a lot. Hey, it must be stupid so let’s not do it. All of this on a flashlight enthusiast forum. Go figure.
Those active users of this forum who are also effectively involved in any kind of business IRL waste more of their time worth in money in a week just browsing the forum than the GT is worth. Why not just not read the BLF for a week and compensate afterwards by buying the GT?
Hello everyone. 1st time in this forum. Lingering in CPF since 2008, where I first took notice of it. Sadly, the thread is closed.
I’m interested in acquiring this light. What’s the procedure and when would the light be ready for shipping?
Thanks in advance
Ya, Gearbest rocks. Let’s hope this light is the ultimate light we will buy.
Sorry I missed your post. Not really new hobby but old one, just putting more time and effort into old bodybuilding.
1. I’m on the list and made a down payment… will we get an email when the payment is due (and do we have an estimated date)…i dont want to miss it and also want to get the batteries before the light comes in.
2. Flat or button top and protected or unprotected batteries——— i’ve used both but what is everyone going with this time
