CRX CuTi Triple Nichia 219C 4000K - 18350

Ouch

There were several with that one. After a while I was numb and it didn’t hurt anymore.
Soldering iron got a break this week.

Awesome mod as usual! :+1:

Putting those Nichia’s to good use

You make so many super cool custom lights, what do you do with them?

Keep the favorites, give some away and recycle others.

Astonishingly nice work as ever Stevi…….

It looks like it could be a steampunky sort of disguised torch clipped seamlessly into a gap on Cap’n Nemo’s brass bedstead, for when he needs a nocturnal pish…… Then a faux-telescope Stainless extension sort of thingy.

Maybe I’m tired……

Superb mate

Paul

It does this when “telescoped out”

Hows that wee copper fella, lost or dead yet?

I’m rarely given to envy . almost never to jealousy .avoiding lust and hatred.

I hate you .

Join the club

That looks like a really cool album cover……

The little copper fella is still going strong. I haven’t lost him since that sickening few hours when he went walkabouts not long after I got him. He gets a lot of use. Love him to bits. I’ll be so sad when he bites the dust.

Cool :+1:

Beautiful work as always Steve, outstanding :sunglasses:

They can be 3D printed the company luxexcel does it.
http://www.luxexcel.com
It is expensive.
And they are ceartified for medical lenses in glasses

But I doubt lenses can be done with a home printer.
But a Formlabs form 2 can do light pipes, and you had to hand polish.

Very, very nice.

Awesome build!

Nice build, CRX

Lol

Nice creation! But what do you mean “telescoped out”? Is it a slide type host like many zoomies?

Thanks guys

Well there you go, getting closer all the time :+1:

No I just meant when the aluminium sheath is not fully slid in place on the light. You can have that effect on multi emitter mule lights, try putting a triple in a tube if you have one and you can kinda focus the pattern by how far the light is in the tube, might keep the kids amused for a bit

Maybe one could flame-polish it after printing?

As to the build - superb, as always. Any data on how does the jacket extend turbo time?
