Friend didnât liked cold bear, he is not used to it
I donât care much for cold bear either, theyâre too grumpy when theyâre cold and wonât stay in the mug.
I changed up this week. Got Newcastle Brown ale instead of my usual Warsteiner Dunkel.
Right out of the freezerâŚ
Newkie Brown used to be my favorite beer when I lived in England for a year in the eighties. Nowadays I can buy it even here in Holland, in fact I believe it is even brewn here.
Have you been drinking something guys?
Yeah, only light beer, haha.
Locally produced âpaleâ ale
Iâll shine a light on my beautiful bottle of Imperia Vodka any day, coupled with Kahlua itâs the perfect Black Russian.

And I got a black metal lighted tail cap, there was alcohol involved with it, and it wasnât me consuming it I was sure I had some clear 3mm fiber laying around but I couldnât find it, so for testings sake I used a clear 3mm led and I whis I never sold my lathe I missed it a lot today Drilled a 3mm hole in the button, since it is aluminium I had to cool it with alcohol, but since the vice on Proxxon bench drill canât be locked and I need one hand for the injector with âŚ

Hello from the Netherlands - #83 by SpAwN
Thatâs pretty sweet. I imagine it would look amazing if someone could make (3d print?) the center piece of the switch out of a clear material.
I love lit tailswitches and the metal switches, but have never been satisfied with just using the clear gasket on the metal switches. It just doesnât let enough light through.
Not really modding, but did some polishing
What have you used to achieve this effect?
I have used an old cotton T-shirt together with Brasso
The finish of this flashlight is not 100% smooth, as you can see on the image
It came that way actually, but it is not very well visible on the first picture with the patina on it.

FourSevens Mini Turbo Mk II XP-L HI 5A3

Xiaomi 10000mAh Powerbank II hack.
Built in short micro usb lead and 3W warm white cob LED with reverse clicky switch, acrylic window.
I usually do the lead mod with my powerbanks but noticed there was maybe just enough space for the cob and a switch, so why not ;)
The MBI HF was among the first custom direct drive lights, these from Japan and running on custom made high discharge Li-ion cells. I was very into the MBI products when The-Guy-With-No-Name was first getting started, have several HFâs, a Torpedo and an aspheric head for a Ti HF. Theyâre very compact and tweak all the output possible from a small cell.
As the story goes, the inventor worked for a large Japanese company that dis-allowed the employees to have a public face, hence, the-guy-with-no-name. His packaging is incredible, especially with the Torpedo, really way over the topâŚ
