Those firmwares are made for DD drivers and are not compatible in any way with my drivers, and vice versa. Future compatibility is also not possible, drivers which use them don't have (IHMO) basic hardware requirements like current regulation and external temp. sensor support.

Any way of mode ascending, either by double click or TK style long click would be very welcome.

That and much more will be available on next driver generation.
Looking forward to the next generation drivers then.
Are you still planning on making 20mm drivers? I am concerned about the heat transfer from the Mosfet on the LD-A4 driver when using adaptor rings even though I fill the driver cavity with silicone cubes. I use my throwers with two modes only, moonlight and max safe regulated current. This means the mosfet won’t run too hot in high mode because of the difference between Vbatt and Vf at those high currents, right? I am referring to the CSLNM1.TG and when I install the new CULNM1.TG.

That and much more will be available on next driver generation.
Glad to hear that. I’ll have to be patient then
One teeny tiny suggestion: consider sourcing Cree 660nm Photo Red XP-E2’s or even better, the newer red XP-G3’s.
It’s a big niche on the market, finding them in single quantities for a reasonable price is impossible, and Kaidomain and others only have 620nm “orange” red XP-E2’s.
I personally wouldn’t mind paying a bit more to get a Photo Red led in small quantities. Or maybe the Photo Red SST-10’s are worth consideration if they can withstand 2.5A as the XP-E2 can.

I will design 20mm driver version this weekend and send it to fab.

I will check that deep red XP-G3, it looks interesting because die looks like it's 2mm2 and I also prefer deep/true red over orange-ish 620nm red LEDs.
Also the other very singificant advantage over 620nm red LEDs is that light output does not drop as nearly as much at high temperatures:
Poor guy even opened led4power@tutanota.com mail with insulting content of 10-year old this morning
All because I was apparently way too slow with answering to his questions over PM (he sent me 11 messages within 24hrs):
Man, some “customers” sure aren’t worth the hassle. You can be glad he blocked himself before you actually sold something to him.
led4power, you must remember manufacturers and sellers are not allowed to take vacation, hang out with friends, or sleep and must answer all customer questions within 3 hours. This is the BLF seller’s rule
You are all third-class people: Croats, Australians, Germans, Russians, Americans.
This is quite a defense.
Seems a coincidence that when he did not reply for less than 1 day on question unrelated to his components that you turned into a third class person like us and blocked him? Suspicious indeed.
Wow, very interesting and low priced!
might have to buy some soon.
The white flat is just a 3V LED isn’t it?
WTB: Jetbeam TCR-1 or Sunwayman V10R Ti
Yes, 3V single die.

Hi Neven,
Would it be possible to release drivers in the future with other firmwares such as Crescendo or Bistro? Maybe charge an extra fee for that??
I have tried both, and especially Crescendo would be awesome on your drivers.

I can see this making it’s way into my Emisar D4 somehow…. I don’t even use my D4 because of the driver. I wan’t a proper cc driver in it!

Maybe they are trying to use LED4Power’s drivers to rebuild Notre Dame
That would be an interesting post in the ‘What did you mod today’ thread.

Well. Neven is here much longer and most of us know him well so we have a reason to believe more him than a new user.
Just my opinion.
You guys missed his (Mark Piezo’s) response to the butt hurt comment yesterday about duck and mouth, which was taken down right away.
