Low performance of GT mini in my case is probably caused by springs, because sometimes I use longer cells with integrated charging in GT mini. The measurement was taken with VC6 and it resulted with reduced springs tension.
I am glad that it shipped. However, almost 1 month [initial email, sent Two]with UNANSWERED questions is UNACCEPTABLE. The questions had nothing to do with shipment, it was a question about conflicting information regarding step down listed on his website and what a user experienced.
If he was a dealer in USA he would be out of business! I am not alone in the frustration regarding his inability to respond to his customers. We should not have to chase him on FB or wherever else he can be contacted.
I hope the light never has an issue. If so, I expect nothing after this experience.
I donât know why Iâm ordering from Neal as the last order was a PL47G2 from him and I waited 38 days for it (to just be shipped) and it came w/ massive problems (like the head/optics being misaligned, and the rubber o-ring falling into middle of the optic and sticking there, causing beam artifacts. Sounds like he picked out the factory-seconds and mailed those out. I guess I really wanted a SB90.2 light. But now the FT03 is gonna come out w/ a SB90.2 light I might just cancel and wait for that.
How do you enter the turbo on NI40 with SBT90.2?? Instructions says double click. I have been messing with it for 15 minutes and still canât figure out from which mode double click turns on the turbo. Was able to access it a few times though
Does anyone know?
The rubber that covers the switch. It seems like what theyâre saying is cut 1mm of the inside part of the rubber that touches the switch.
This is the quote from Duke on TLF:
I shortened the Nubsie in the switch rubber by ~ 1mm, which was too tight for me.
Now itâs better
Have no idea what a Nubsie is. Googled it and it doesnât seem to be a word in English or german. Well thereâs no translation anyway. Maybe itâs a spelling mistake.
Exactly, I pointed out this problem to them on 11/3/19 on Post # 152 before the 2nd batch was sent out.
I have yet to hear a response. In the mean time, Iâve been reading some comments that Neal doesnât answer his emails.
You need to contact him through FB, but he may or may not reply. I find that a little disturbing.
Whatâs going to happen if you get a defective unit and you need to get the issue resolved.
If someone doesnât respond to a inquiry that would lead to a potential sale, I would think it would be a nightmare if you need to make some sort of claim for a replacement or refund.
I agree. For me, I would just take the loss even though I do not want to. It would NOT be worth the frustration in waiting for a response. If he does not answer simple questions from many of us, why would we expect him to respond when a light has an issue?
This is my first experience with a GB with him,and most assuredly my last.
