I see…
There’s no way I will like it nearly as much as my hand-tuned Andruil.
But considering that your clicky UIs were very good for clicky UIs I expect quite a lot from this one.
There’s no chance it will be excellent for me but it is likely to be at least fair. I have some but hope that it will actually be good – but not much hope.
Also one note, LEDs and optics are not available in "bare" form due to some business reasons, you can still (technically) buy bare LEDs by purchasing 16 or 20mm DTP PCBs and checking "Don't solder LED" box. You will need to buy DTP PCB of course, but most of them is on clearance sale anyway, so price is good. You can also buy optics together with compatible MCPCBs, there is checkbox "add xxx optics" option.
Why? I had 10 luxeon v2 in the basket without mcpcbs. I would like to buy them without mcpcb because I don't need them and they inflate the price. If we can buy leds without soldering, why can't you buy leds separately, without mcpcbs? If you don't want to change it, could you at least add the "Don't solder LED" option to triples and quads?
Bureaucracy reasons, my start-up company is not registered for trade (re-selling), so I'm technically allowed to sell only my own products. "My own products" could be basically any new product that's different from input raw material. So LED + MCPCB (soldered or not) is new product, LED alone is not new product. To get trade registration in my country you need to have >50m2 (expensive) separate warehouse no matter if you are selling 0402 resistors(and your whole stock can fit in your backpack), or cars. There was one case where inspection closed e-book store (yes, digital downloadable books) because owner did not have 50m2 warehouse for e-books LOL.
I added "don't solder LEDs and NTC" to for 20mm quad CuDTP:
Happy New Year! Neven, would removing the mosfet and bridging the connection on the MosX MCPCB with the Luxeon MZ allow it to be used like a normal MCPCB with only two power leads connected from a standard driver? Interested in using one in a standard triple host without use of an LD-B4 driver.
Yes, there is checkbox for that option (no FET and NTC) for 32/34mm MZ boards, I added this too for 3xMZ 20mm board:

I see that you have all non-IR alu MCPCBs on a sale. Does this mean that you want to switch to copper where it’s a good fit or that you have newer variants in the queue?
I plan to have new 16 and 20mm DTP boards in 3030,3535 and 4040 footprint format, and possibly 3x,4x 20mm 3030,I'm not sure about the rest, demand is too low.

I’ve been looking for triple 3030 20mm MCPCB’s for a ling time now

Sounds like you need to add a new product – a 30mm x 120 mm strip of bare copper. Label it “LED test fixture, holds up to 12 LEDS” and have a “Do Not Solder LEDS to test fixture” option

Neven,
Glad things are up and running again and I hope you have a good year. I’m very interested in either 3x or 4x (preferably the latter though) 20mm DTPMCPB in 3030 footprint. I need some other things and I’m debating about whether I should wait to order until these boards come out. Do you have a rough estimate on when they might be ready? Thanks.
3x and 4x 3030 will come after new 16 and 20mm boards, so not fast, maybe in March (the main reason is I'm searching for new reliable supplier, last one went into full Chinese mode and just suddenly closed his company and send me only half of my boards -> 1000$+ damage, and delay with new boards release is the consequence).

Thank you! I'll be looking for your reply to also order other stuff!
Sorry, I don't have 4pcs needed for quad, but in my opinion Luxeon V2 would be better fit for these small optics, beam is 2x less floody, price is lower, lumens are not too far behind at 3Amp per LED and you can mix 2x3000K + 2x5000K to get rosier tint.

I know that the V2 will fit better a and that it will still give me a nice tint and beam, but making a triple/quad Luxeon V has been one my goals since I knew about them and started using them, so I wanted the contest mod to have them! Also, I guess it will combine well with the other stuff I’ll put in the flashlight!
Thanks for checking! I will check your store any way for other stuff

Hi led4power can I ask you for advice? I have a problem with ld-4a driver. It worked fine in C8+ host and wf2 until I try to replace the driver spring. I probably messed up something and shorted + and – on battery side. tried to turn it on (it won’t work) so I turned it off and found out it was a short there. I fixed the short but from this moment, the driver gives only 200ma to the led. No modes no settings, nothing seems to work. Don’t you know if I’ve destroyed it completely or if is it possible to somehow fix it? Thank you.

You don't need to use jumper on 20mm mosX boards, you can solder wire directly to FET big pad:

Is Luxeon V 4000k unavailable? I can’t find a quad. There is only 5700k
It's out of stock, currently I have only 5700K.

No, copper DTP.

Hi Neven! Happy New Year!
Any estimated date for the Luxeon V 4000K restock?
I was really counting on them for my OL Contest mod

Hi Neven! Thanks for the reply!
I want(ed) a 4 x Luxeon 4000K on the respective 20mm board for a quad build! No wires soldered!

No FET+NTC, just 4xLEDs on 20mm 4xV mosX?

Yup, precisely that!
I will use a driver from Lexel!
Do you have any ? If so, please PM!
Thanks in advance!
