niajef, as for damage, yes - class 3 means that if the eye is exposed directly, the retina can be damaged. Arrested, I don’t think so - but it depends on the case. Suppose you will shine into the eyes of a police officer, that can be brought back to you as an assault and you will face charges. Use it on purpose on civilians. In that case, they also can call the police, and there might be plenty of charges, from eye damage (civil case) to blinding and endangerment of causing traffic disaster; blinding flight personnel also can be prosecuted ex officio. So - don’t do stupid things with lasers and powerful torches :).
well i just thought of it cuz i see on the product page, one of the pictures shows it shining it on a building, so i thought, what if there was someone behind that window looking out, and they see your light, out of curiosity, they turn towards it, and bam, its like looking at the sun
If this blade was labelled 8Cr13MoV I probably have bought it as I like narrow, lightweight folding knives. However, since that knife has been labelled M390 I won’t trust a Xanes branded knife even if it’s labelled 8Cr13MoV. I assume Xanes is one of Banggood’s ultra-cheap brands, but they don’t seem to care whether it has any credibility at all.
If anyone does buy this knife expecting M390 steel I’ve got some 6000mAh 18650 cells they might be interested in.
