All plastic, so the thicker parts would likely be fine, but some of the thinner ones look as if they might be rather fragile. Seems worth the gamble, though.

I bought a new laptop/2n1 on Amazun on Jan10. A week later they had it as a “Deal of the Day” at $160 less. I called and talked with a very nice lucid gentleman who initially offered 10% reduction.
I countered my longtime Prime and obscene number of purchases and asked for a pricematch. He agreed and it appeared as an adjustment for damage to my unit at first. Now it shows as promotion adjustment. They do have their ways which transcend we mere mortal purchasers.

True story. Years ago the chinese reached a low point and actually copied their own names. Such names as Panasoonic and Souny were quote common . They even copied the logo and font. Not sure of they still do this. How people fell for it, I could never understand.

K, I got ’em, and they’re pretty nice. Definitely keep a look-out in case they come back. Probably even worth it at the full 15bux, but definitely 7fitty is a lot better.

The pouches are just that: pouches. No internal pockets or anything, but they are water resistant. The material has a solid backing on the inside surface. Might flake/peel/whatever over time, who knows, but for now it looks pretty good. Zippers definitely need lube (wax, etc.), though, as they’re a little scratchy. Stitching seems quite good, too.

The clippy parts are all pretty good. Found out that even The Real Thing is made of plastic, not metal, to keep things that go boom from making them secondary projectiles.

And yeh, by design they’re supposta break away at ~80lbs, so you wouldn’t get hung up on one. So I guess I shouldn’t worry about them being plastic and not metal.

All in all, pretty happy.

Yep, no worries.

I already got plans for a coupla those elastic thingies. Seems a way quicker way to hook up a folding umbrella vs under the “lace” by the velcro patch.
