Hi HKJ! A few of us would be very interested in the T50 testing. Understand the shipping has gotten really bad and you have a backlog queue.
I was lucky to receive 4 of these but they have been scarce - limited qty, sold out quickly, waiting for re-stock.
They look impressive with having excellent performance and high capacity in a 21700. If you received them, and could give us an approximate time frame, that would be much appreciated.
I would guess the result will be very similar to the Keeppower 18350 1400mAh P1835C3 published today. What are the odds of two different 1400mAh cells released at the same time? None.
Did not know Keeppower also released a 18350 1400mAh, hopefully they’ll follow suit and release a 26650 6400mAh. They probably have the same suppliers/contacts.
Can I leave a request for Sanyo 18650GA 3500 mAh? I used them several times and they broke quite often. On https://batterytools.net/ I have read several reasons for battery failure. For example wrong coast charge voltage, free inter-cell joins or associations, misfortune of electrolyte and tall and uneven temperatures. Like this, I have not noticed, and so I don’t know what to do. Can you tell me what is wrong with these batteries or maybe they have features in use? Thank you in advance.
I see just 3 entries for such a thing in AliExpress, out of which just this one is selling it in small quantities. The size is nearly a match of two C cells (26500) in series.
Nothing to write home about capacity or energy density wise. The «8C» discharge rate claim is the only somewhat noteworthy stuff. I wonder what is the target market for such a thing.
Energy density in batteries available to the public hasn't increased in the last 6 years or so, by the way.
Rather than taking your chances with Ockered, I’d go with Sofirn’s offering (SofirnLight.com).
Previously they were labelled PLBs (the 5000 mAh) and I believe these would be equivalent to Schockli 5500 mAh (lygte ). I just so ordered some, good pricing (for 2) and free shipping with orders above $29 (USD).
But if your query is for HKJ to test, disregard my post.
