Thank you "freeme" for PM'ing the discount coupon code which was more of a discount than I was expecting.
I have a question for other forum members who may have the same issue as myself:
I live in a remote location and can only reliably receive deliveries to my P.O. Box at a US Post Office, but UPS, FedEx and other delivery services will not ship to a P.O. Box and even if they do, the US Post Office will not hand the delivery over the counter to me due to their regulations (even though they required and have my P.O. Box Number cross-referenced to my Physical Address) and USPS will eventually return the package to the sender.
QUESTION: If I use a US Postal Service "P.O. Box" as my shipping address will "Nealsgadgets" ship the package so that it eventually routes though the US Postal Service (USPS) for final delivery?
NOTE: I am signed up for "Premium P.O. Box Service" with the US Postal Service where I can have packages shipped by UPS, FedEx and other delivery services to my Post Office's physical address followed by a # sign and my P.O. Box number, but that does not always work for me especially if the seller requires the billing address for the Credit Card to be the same as the shipping address.
Also, I do not have a PayPal account. PayPal seems to work without having a PayPal account by entering Credit Card information into PayPal while checking out, but the one time I tried this for a previous order at another site, the seller would not accept my order saying my address was not "confirmed" or "verified" (I can't remember the exact wording) but it may have been because my requested shipping address (my Premium P.O. Box Service address) did not match the Credit Card billing address (my P.O. Box) that I used with PayPal. I could sign up for PayPal but would still have the same issue with the billing and shipping address not being the same.
Any advice or experiences from other forum members addressing these issues would be appreciated. Thanks.
I received my two yesterday, one SST-20 4000K and one Nichia 3000K, well was supposed to be 3000K but was sent 5000K, bummer. The box was marked 3000K but is definitely cooler tint than my 4000K.
I’ve sent an email to Neal seeing what my options are.
I got my 2. 2 weeks for delivery. Excellent. They are tiny! I need to learn the new UI and programming. Maybe strip the bezel (need stainless). Not a huge fan of the clip.
Has any one done an oring mod to this switch? Is it helpful?
I’m impressed. It’s absolutely tiny!!! It makes my Sofirn SP10B look huge.
One interesting thing to note: This is by far the narrowest triple TIR optic light I’ve seen. Unlike pretty much every other triple, the optic is not a 20mm Carclo triple TIR. Instead it appears to be a custom optic that is much narrower and smaller.
The bi-directional clip also works very well and does not feel like it sticks out too much.
I’m impressed. I think Lumintop has a real winner with this one. Hopefully they will come out with this light in Titanium and Ti-Cu.
I’ve got some really bad flicker on the Nichia 219C 3000K. What is the usual trouble shooting again? I tightened the retaining rings and tail then head. It’s better but not gone.
Ihad the same issuewith 5000k and i found loosening bezel stops this behaviour. Definetly bad solder job (see in my post on previous page). After resoldering contacts, all good
bad solder job is something that should not happen on a newly released light its not the first fw light they make they should have improved the quality on that by now. no excuses.
The camera sees it that way, but in fact when shinning it above some different stuff, my eyes see it too.
Please note that it was taken with 5000K balance on a cellphone, so it can be a bit exaggerated.
Still, there is a rosy tone on it, as far as I can tell.
