I recently bought a Thrunite T1 during Amazon Prime day and really like the form factor, beam profile and tint, feel in my hand and two way clip.
What I don’t like is that the UI doesn’t allow direct access to the low end of the ramp from moonlight or from off, unless low was the last used level before switching off.
I’d also like a lighted side switch similar to the Sofirn SC31 Pro, so I can find it in the dark.
Why doesn’t anyone make a light like this?
Just changing the T1 UI to allow direct access to low from off, regardless of what level it was turned off in, would be a huge improvement.
That appears to sort of fit the bill, but my impression is that it would not capable of deep carry with the pictured clip, doesn’t have the two-way clip and would end up costing a lot more.
I tried a short tube on my SC31 Pro and it was much longer than the T1 and didn’t have the two way clip and no magnetic tail cap and a much more focused beam pattern than the T1.

then EDC18 + 18350 tube + Dual Position Deep Pocket Clip (short + magnet, and wide beam, lots of LED to choose, but no USB C charging), make shure that you order the bunny logo switch one.
there was a EDC18 batch with dark switch, because of that bunny energizer thing.
ther is a copper EDC18 + copper 18350 tube, looks good. Well I even have copper EDC18, but no copper 18350 tube. It's heavy, not suitable for EDC, and no magnet.
Lumintop EDC18 (aluminum), w/SST20 4000K, 95+HCRI, and optional 18350 short tube.
Very happy with this as an EDC. I will say that I do appreciate the EDC18’s Anduril-1 UI. Customizable to turn on and ramp from very low moonlight. The SST-20 4000K, 95+ HCRI, slightly floody, is also very nice!
You will also need to purchase a two-way clip to replace the original, and source the lit “bunny version”.

==but anduril does that, press and hold from off, goes directly to lowest ramp configuration setting
you have to hold about half a second, longer than just a ‘click’
