It has become 6. But it should have been 40 or so.
1) GT4 with 4x 80CRI 4000K XHP70 (I swapped the yellow-ish stock leds for leds from KD that have way better tint). Because it is the heaviest and one of the most extreme flashlights ever made, 28,000 lumen in a massive throwy beam. No compromises. Thanks to TA for helping creating it.
2) Wildtrail WT90, for the opposite reason: it hits a delicate compromise hotspot between size/weight, throw, and runtime. That is if you consider 5000 lumen with 1Mcd a compromise. Again thanks to Texas_Ace who made this posible with Wildtrail. I made a comfortable handle for it .
3) Wildtrail D80V2. I changed the led for a sliced dogfart, great beam and beautiful tint now. This light feels better in hand than any other flashlight I know, and ideal for holidays. This much improved D80 was created thanks to the dedicated work of TheOnlyDoc who is a very friendly german BLF member who went missing in action two years ago.
4) Solarstorm SC-02. This was my most extensive mod in my BLF carreer, totally gutted it and rebuilt it, it is a RGBW light now with almost perfect colour mixing and 219A SW45 90CRI on the white channel, with a modified DrJones RGBW driver. No colour flashlight was ever made commercially that comes remotely close to it.
5) D4V2 with raised switch ring and 3000K SST20 leds. If I go anywhere where I likely need a light, this is the one, great tough build, reliable, and the beautifil tint that I like.
6) my EDC, Tool AA Ti. With everything modded: led=sliced 4000K 90CRI LH351D, driver=BLF-A6 transferred to a 15mm custom PCB, lighted ring red tail leds. I carry it for more than a year now, the longest time a EDC light has lasted there and I have no plans for replacing it.
