It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks
If you mean Southeast Asia, I am in Singapore and I have received shipments from Ali Express within 10 days in most cases lately.
One Sofirn SC21 Pro green, SP33S blue, and one Lumintop FW21 Pro “gold” ( = copper) have been shipped and left China heading to Singapore now. Got the FW21 Pro today (9 Nov), after placing an order on 3 Nov — delivered in just one week!
So shipping out of China seems quite normal despite the 11/11 Sale and the recurring COVID lockdowns in some Chinese cities.
On 7 November I ordered two 26800 cells from Vapcell Factory Store on Ali Express. Usually battery shipment will take much longer than two weeks.
The battery cell is sensitive goods, which may take a long time
26800 batteries are out of stock at present
I hope your goods can be delivered
Please contact customer service for specific information
Thanks for the information Vapcell Dennis.
Indeed, my order for two cells of 26800 battery placed on 7 November is still not yet shipped. Never mind, can wait a little longer.
Thank you for sharing. During the beginning of COVID pandemic, my orders from AE (general goods) took months until arrival in Thailand, if not lost. Since then I’ve never ordered from AE again. Good to know shipment is now back to normal, but battery shipment still seems not as fast. In addition, I’m not sure but I think some cargos transit at Singapore, so it might be faster for you?
Goatvl: Indeed the efficiency of Singapore Port is remarkable. And this certainly contributes to the fast delivery of orders from AE. During this 11/11 I have bought quite a number of things (mostly because of the good discount) and have them shipped either to me in SG, or to my daughters in USA and UK.
I did the same last year and there was no problem, even during the heights of the pandemic.
Today, 12 November, one more day of the great 11/11 Sale. Have to resist many of those tempting discounts — things that I don’t really need, but want to buy because of good price.
Now there is no COVID-19, so we can shop happily,
new 26800 battery fresh arrival
Interesting. Is there a 3rd party in-depth review like the ones from @HKJ or Mooch?
Also, is there a non-protected, flat-top version?
Hello, Mooch has been tested, but it has not been released yet
HKJ is expected to be still resting and has no time to test the battery
Yes, the 18650 original batteries are all flat top and can be machined withbutton top or protective plates
Those are impressive numbers for sure.
Thanks for the link to Mooch’s Patreon, I used to look for his posts on FB etc, this is much better. And here’s the direct link to his N40 review: https://www.patreon.com/posts/vapcell-n40-10a-85425747
Unfortunately it’s paywalled… :-/ I guess that’s what you meant by “not released yet”.
Looking forward to these. I have a use case presently being served by LG MJ1s where these extra 500mAh will be very welcome.
It’s the perfect battery for an LT1, if cost isn’t an issue. 16Ah should keep it running for quite a while, only way to come close would be to use 3x 21700 in a custom body tube.
LG MJ1 about 3400-3450mah ,Vapcell N40 about 4000-4150mah
Mooch has not yet been posted on public platforms such as forums and Facebook
Currently, payment is required to view content
We checked the paid content and the test result is probably OK
It is expected that he will be published on the public platform in some time
Meanwhile some searching has brought this up[1]:
Vapcell batteries are tested by battery expert who enjoy good reputation like battery mooch, HKJ, Torchy
Subsequent searching for this “Torchy” person brought no results… as it’s in your Alibaba page, could you please give us a pointer?
He is a reviewer in the UK
https://www.facebook.com/TorchyUK
And then there’s the Ukrainian reviewer,Kirich
There are many types of testing vapcell batteries
Thanks for the pointers to TorchyUK and Kirich, more reviewers are always appreciated!
It’s the perfect battery for an LT1
And in the same vein, I think the LT1 is the perfect light for this kind of battery, as it uses them in a parallel configuration so much less chance of mishaps – even with a protected battery, I would be wary of putting 4x4000mAh in series
The unit price of Vapcell N40 is relatively expensive, belonging to high-end batteries
Vapcell F38 has a relatively high cost-effectiveness, with a wholesale price of $3. x
Just checked and right now this seems to be the only page these batteries can be purchased from: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805511868669.html
At $20.67 for 2 batteries (u$ $10.34 per battery) I don’t find them horribly expensive, everything considered – I paid almost $7 for my MJ1s a couple of months ago.
But is Vapcell really only selling them through AliExpress? I for one hate AliExpress and avoid like hell buying anything there…
