Placement 29 ...

I tried to delete it and ended up entering it twice .

How to delete ?

Seems like M3TAL_LORD fixed it already. Enjoy! Smile

Edit: To delete a push pin, you need to:
- switch to edit mode by clicking 'Edit'-button
- select your push pin (from the map or from left pane)
- click 'Delete' in edit box

Editing your info works the same way..

My placement got moved about 30 miles away! Wonder if this is going to prove very reliable if things can get shifted around so easily. Oh well.

Yes, that's a problem in Edit-mode. It's too easy to move push pins..

If that happens, please remember to click 'Undo' after the accidental move.

If the push pins keep moving and/or "funny" text appear (more than earlier today), I'll remove the edit rights from all users. After that you need to PM me to get your push pin added to the map..

But let's still try with the collaborative edit mode. Please be careful and don't mess up the map. Cool

I remember a time, when I searched for lights to fit my needs. Now I search for needs to fit my lights.

that could get laborious!

I know there are ways to import a spreadsheet – although I suppose if that was open for editing we could have the same issues…

If you type in a given address where you want your icon to appear, there’s no need to edit the map. So use the street corner, 5th and Main, and the icon will appear right there. Done. No need to go into edit mode. If you don’t mind using your actual address, just put in the search bar and there ya go.

I think the OP was actually thinking of an automated system that would put a blip on the map in accordance to where you say you are in your profile. As Gords said, sb would be in the dark, somewhere….

Well, I guess we just have to be careful when in edit mode adding our username that we don’t skew the works.

I know the lonely feeling, all alone in TX…O-L’s gotta join me sometime or other! Smile

How do I edit my username on the map? I completely spaced about including that when adding the pin. Currently I’m a question mark and anonymous.

Also, I see Chicago X needs to change his username to New Buffalo X Wink

Added mine in TX.

No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.

Hi all
My first post here, after lots of reading (and buying).
I live very far from most of you, in Brasil. I tried to include my location in Google Maps, don´t know if I succeeded.
Sorry for my English.
Best regards
Eduardo
