If you look at it from the side where you see the negative and positive terminals, there are several recessed areasā¦ Two of them have regular Phillips head screws holding the two halves together.
I am saving the two halves for battery stands. Iāll have two seperate 10x18650 āstandsā
Please DONāT CRACK THESE OPEN!
I have some Black & Decker tools that use them, and will gladly trade your pack in exchange for 10 brand new high power cells of your choice (even CGR18650CHās). I have quite a number of new CGR18650CHās on hand, but can also get most other high power cells from Samsung or Sanyo for example. Or Iād also trade other flashlight stuff that I sell for one or more of these packs. PM ME!
Thanksā¦ Now you tell meā¦ Now I got to go to auburn tomorrow to see if they have any stock
Oh you poor soul, you must be going out of your mind whilst us barbarians are sacking and pillaging
I was in Lowes today, they plenty of them for saleā¦ā¦ā¦ for $89.95!
@EDCPlus, PM sent. I have one NIB. :)
Haha yea hate seeing people crack open perfectly good packs. And I just happen to have a good use for these packs for my B&D Tools.
Thanks for the PMās guys and keep them coming if you are able to get any of these, my offer still stands.
You willing to take all you can get? Iād rather not take a trip to auburn if not neccisary. Donāt even know if they have any. But Iāll find out for sure if we can make a deal. Can you get Panasonicās?
Well I worked out a deal with him, saves me the trouble of dealing with defusing a second pack. :D Thanks EDCPlus!!!

Yes I will take as many as I can get. Iām offering people up to $60 worth at edcplus.com or 10x Panasonic CGR18650CHās. Or I can get other cells like Panny 3400ās etc.
stay tunedā¦ road trip tomorrow S)
Then he disappeared with a thunderclap inside a brighter-than-god glowing purple orb of plasma, like a mini-sun or magnesium on fire, like three feet in diameter.
I had NO idea that 120-volts could produce such an intense effect! I do now.
Several hundred amps available from the circuit, I would think. Fuses are a good thing.
Another thing to bear in mind if anyoneās poking around in their household wiring with cheap five dollar meters - they donāt usually have much in the way of protection, internally. Itās not unknown for professional sparkies to use cheap sheet meters and blow themselves up when poking around a main distribution board.
I always seem to have luck at my Home Depot, road trip tomorrow.
>>>>>And I just happen to have a good use for these packs for my B&D Tools.
I am not going to go back through all the threads and look up where I saw this, but I +DEFINITELY+ saw that this BD power pack is very limited in its use for BD tools. I was looking up trying to find what cells were in this pack and I saw several threads where people wanted to use this pack for X tool or X thingamabob, and they were told it would not work. If youāre after these for a specific use, you no doubt have all this covered and have checked what you can use these packs for, but its use did seem to be pretty limited.
I also remember the HD guys telling me it only works in BD string trimmers and thatās why they have been sitting on the shelf for next to forever at 75% off. But they were HD guys after all, so I have NO idea how accurate that statement was/is.
Quick Google look-see shows it compatible with the LST136 string trimmer, LHT2436 hedge trimmer and LSW36 sweeper vac āā and nothing else I could find. But then ā like I said ā I did not do anything even remotely resembling a thorough search.
Just finished a discharge test on one of them and it did 1496 mah at a 1 amp discharge, so definitely the 1500 mah cells.

Yep. I have a string trimmer and its awesome. I also have a 20v B&D Blower, but will get a 36v soon. They are great tools. And yea right now those 3 tools are the only ones I know of that use the 36v packs. Probably in the future there will be 36v drills and other yard related tools (chainsaw perhaps?). I have quite a few B&D 20v tools as well, they are great. After all B&D owns Dewalt and Porter Cable, so they make some pretty nice stuff. In fact there are many porter cable tools that are simply rebranded B&Dās.

Good to hear that they are performing well. Also Iām curious what the pack date is on these. It should have 2011 or 2012 stamped on the black top of the pack.
the one i got was a 2012. but my average cell voltage was lower than everyone elses. maybe my multimeter is finally crapping out? on full charged cells its reading 4.12vā¦ maybe my cheap trustfire charger or maybe the multimeterā¦
The one I opened up was a 2012, can't read the date on the one still in the package though.
Found em at my local HD!! Does anyone need any? There are like 10 packs hereā¦
look at EDCplus commentsā¦ hes got quite a deal going for these
Ok I will, 7 packs are from 2012 and 5 are from 2011 (according) to the label at the bottom.
