. Glad to see you got the 1A's back in stock as well. I'm still looking for some XM-L2 U2 bare emitters as well, let me know or I'll pm or email you. I need bare ones for a couple of reasons, but mainly to use up all the bare Noctigon's I got from you early on!
+1 to Ouchy on the drivers too. We all are struggling on finding good sourced drivers, or even just good drivers in general. Not sure if you've followed us here, but a couple of BLF'ers are working on driver designs but it's been a struggle. Obviously we want a bump in amps over stock drivers, but also better mode configurations (definitely drop SOS, and mostly drop strobe).
I found some 0D LEDs I forgot about in my box of emitters. What kind of tint will they give me?
Terribly cool/blue unless you dedome them. Then they should be a nice relatively neutral tint, hopefully not much green either.
Give it a go and let us know 
Only thing they are good for is de-doming -- they are cool blue... I like them de-domed though

Great. I just did my first de-dome and it’s pretty green. I’ll give one of these 0Ds a whirl.
What tint gave you the green after the dedome?
It was in a $16 light. It said XM-L U2, but it could have been anything.

2B is a great tint for a cool white as you already know by now.

Genuine Nichia NVSL219BT R85 D220 LEDs are now in stock. You can see the original label with the store’s name handwritten on it.
Color temperature according to Nichia’s SW45 chromaticity bin in the datasheet is 4260-4745K

Cree has announced a new breed of XP class emitters, the XP-L! With 23% brighter output, this looks very interesting. See if you can be the first to offer these little beauts! (3 of those on a triple Noctigon would be supremely impressive!) These are rated at 3A capacity, and with 460 lumens at 1A minimum for the top V5 bin, can you imagine a trio driven well? Yowza!
