Wow, if you announced that here in the U.S. (if you lived here) you'd get robbed in no time. I never tell anyone what I've got, except for individual lights.
The 733 is an excellent choice and is one of the sharper knives for its broad blade design and size. I personally love the style and carry one clipped to my shorts when I go rafting down the river. Its also very comfortable to handle. Typical excellent SRM construction and materials. Now all you have to decide is black or silver.
If those are the only 2 folders you ever buy, Im sure they'll give you years of service and enjoyment. Some bragging rights will probably accompany your EL01.
I have a dog. This one. It's watchful. It's not that large. But then again, being a terrier, once it bites to something it will not let go. Robbing a house with 8kg of dog hanging around in ones genital region would be... bit of an inconvenience, I'd suppose.
I added my collection of Chinese knives to whooping three with SRM 763 (others being SRM 707 and Enlan M014). That is one impressive knife. Nice size, axis lock feels solid and above all it's one crazy sharp sharp thingy!I mean come on! That is stupidly sharp for a 10$ knife. G10 handle feels secure even when wet and the blade has just the right angle for my taste. Much better blade angle than 707 and the like. Two thumbs up.
The SRM 710 SS is the knife I gift the most. Its one of the few designs that pleases a wide variety of people and seems to find its way into their pockets for EDC. I walked into the fire station yesterday and saw a friend showing one off to a few others. Everyone always thinks its a $25 knife.
Greatwalloutdoor still has several (nearly impossible to find) Sanrenmu/SRM 9x series knives. Although they are now in the low $20 range, they are still a great bargain and "must have's" for anyone seeking to round out their collection. Get them before the supply is gone forever.
These knives were apparently outlawed for production by the local Chinese police because several people were attacked by them. (We've all heard of a Chinese fire drill... now we know what a Chinese police bust must resemble)
The reseller has several other interesting knives and a well designed web site. My buying experience with them was a good one. I received email confirmations upon purchase and received my package in about 2.5 weeks.
Can someone tell me some of the typical places you purchased your knives? I noticed that greatwalloutdoor.com seems to have good prices at the moment. FlashPilot's experience with them seems to be good also.
What knife do you own that you especially like and feel that you got it for a great price? Then, if you can, please link to the seller. Thanks
