8 x SK68 giveaway...Winners in post #1 :D

sedstar…entry #1, how i got here…

i got into flashlights by accident. i scratch-build night vision? spotters and weapons mounted? anyways… the IR illuminators is about half the battle… once my scratch builds were going half decent, it was time to play with IR illuminators…

eh, which is really a IR emitter “zoomie”, basically… I was first at “the other flashlight site” (which shall not be named, lol) and REALLY i didnt like it over there, not very much…

more budget lights, scratch builds, etc etc “going on” on this site anyways… plus when you added in the “no snob factor” of HERE? well… here i am…

somehow? i ended up getting into visible flashlights on top of my IR zoomie interests… even though i never intended to? now i am hooked.

i am really beaming with pride, that i finally had two “firsts” for me…

1) i finally ordered something from china (broke the proverbial ice)
2) participated in my first group buy (1504 GB)

I promise to break the sipik within 2 days of its arrival if i win one, LMAO… i cant keep my hands off of anything i buy now, lol…

My wife’s nephew in the Philippines wanted one of those advertised package deals for a zoomie Ultrafire Cree XML T6 2200lm with 2 18650s and a charger. I decided to investigate before buying. A google search led me here and to that other forum. Now I’m hooked.

Has anyone mod this with a better driver?

I found BLF when I did search finding a review about flashlight

As it turned out, I bought a Convoy C8 and 2 UltraOK ZS-2 from RMM and a cheapo C8 and 2 cheapo zoomies recommended here from MyLED, a couple of budget chargers and some 18650s. It adds up fast, doesn’t it?

General flashlight type is one of my prefer flashlight for edc with long throw and average lumens, i can use it around my neighborhood

I also like keychain light because its very portability

Now I have a nice Skilhunt H02 headlight and a SWM c22c added to the collection and waiting for the EE A6 and LS D80 BLF-SEs is perhaps the best way to slam on the brakes, for now anyway.

Im also down, I found BLF when I decided to build my first XHP70 flashlight

I currently have a few cheap ultrafire fireflashlights nothing too serious untill I get this build finished.

7 winners, nice. Thanks Sirius9 and GB.
I’m not even certain how I came upon BLF. :~ Probably google.

Don’t count me in though.

1st entry
I found BLF while googling for flashlightforums. I found this and “another forum”.

I found BLF through google when I was looking for a XM-L2 based flashlight as my everyday carry. 50$ was still pushing it and once I stumbled upon this forum, it took me 3 days to decide to build my own light.

I currently own 1/2 a flashlight. I have all the parts but I am trying to record a video so that I can help this community grow since I couldn't find a nice video when I was still researching.

Future Builds include a semi portable XHP70 or maybe a couple AA based XP-G2 to keep around the house.

I found BLF with google. I’m a night biker and wanted some more info on led lights that mount to bikes. I ended up here and the forums on mtbr. I post there minimally, and usually just lurk here. This contest got me to register.

a friend for another local flashlifht forum informed me about BLF,i am glad he did, thanks for the giveaway.

Thanks, I’m in.

I started searching about replacing stock drivers with Q-lite drivers after reading about how to get rid of next mode memory and blinkies in a flashlight review. My searching led me to BLF.

I currently have a solarstorm x2 mounted on my bars. it seems to be getting dimmer than before. I’m thinking the crappy stock batteries are dying. Need to find a new pack.
