So you can gloat when everyone else’s are gone.
The LD-2 is a nice match to the new flat-top emitters and the Reylight.
A hot flashlight. Celsius, if not sex appeal.
I should have taken a little more care to center the little button but it wanted to stick where it is……….
Thanks, led4power!
I have an application in a headlamp, I am wondering can the modes be spaced closer and not so fire breating on the high end.
I want to put a 6v MT-G2 in the spark SX5 so max brightness will not be the most important thing. (the magnetic lights did not work out so this is a fall back project).
Does the LD-1 or 2 (or other) work with electronic switches?
Also how do we get ramping put in, so we can choose how bright we want it?
and do you have Boost drivers for single cell 6V applications?
Sorry I maybe asking dumb questions.
LD-2 works with e-switches. But modes are fixed AFAIK - it’s not like the ATtiny13a drivers where you can swap/modify programs.
Ramping is one of the ui’s available for e-switch use. A resistor change can reduce the max current. See the into thread for the formula to choose the correct resistor value for a given max current.
I'm not sure if my post/answer about ramping is deleted,so I'll repeat (and definitely must refresh OP):
Ramping UI is removed in LD-2,instead of that,UI_2 in now "discrete ramping",so by holding switch you ramp up/down through existing discrete modes (moon, low, med, high),double press toggles mode between min/max,normal press is on/off (last mode from off),long press from off is for lowest mode from off.
what happened to the info thread? it doesn’t load at the moment:
Yep. noticed that too. The matrix is being wonky this morning!
Ledpower is working with SB to fix it
Price and minimum quantity drop!
Minimum order quantity for European Union countries is now 1 piece, and only 2 pieces for rest of the World.
Also more max. current set resistors choices now:5A,7A,8A,9A,10A or 12A
Added: STANNOL 0.7mm HS10 solder wire
2S-4S parts are currently out of stock!
Have you done any further testing with the remote board idea?
It's still in progress.
Thanks for dropping the MOQ

Moved to info thread:
[image] LD-2 [image] Parasitic resistance of common drivers Important note! Driver comes with both solder jumpers unsoldered(driver's bottom side,1cell or 2 cell operation),so user must solder one of them (1S or 2S,never both at the same time) for proper operation. More under 2S (2x) Li-ion cell operation for “6V” LEDs" section. Any thought of making 22mm driver’s?
Any thought of making 22mm driver’s?
Plenty of 22 mm adapters available. The production cost of this board might make it hard to keep affordable in several sizes.
2xLi-ion(“6V”) support parts 1.0$/set (for one driver) - CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK!
I would like to ask when it will be available again?
Thanks!
1-2 weeks.
Order placed for 5 more drivers, 4 full resistor sets and 2 moonlights+tracking.
Thanks for making these drivers and lowering the min order amount, they are awesome so nice to not have a turbo timer !
