I have an application in a headlamp, I am wondering can the modes be spaced closer and not so fire breating on the high end.
I want to put a 6v MT-G2 in the spark SX5 so max brightness will not be the most important thing. (the magnetic lights did not work out so this is a fall back project).
Does the LD-1 or 2 (or other) work with electronic switches?
Also how do we get ramping put in, so we can choose how bright we want it?
and do you have Boost drivers for single cell 6V applications?
Ramping is one of the ui’s available for e-switch use. A resistor change can reduce the max current. See the into thread for the formula to choose the correct resistor value for a given max current.
I'm not sure if my post/answer about ramping is deleted,so I'll repeat (and definitely must refresh OP):
Ramping UI is removed in LD-2,instead of that,UI_2 in now "discrete ramping",so by holding switch you ramp up/down through existing discrete modes (moon, low, med, high),double press toggles mode between min/max,normal press is on/off (last mode from off),long press from off is for lowest mode from off.
Order placed for 5 more drivers, 4 full resistor sets and 2 moonlights+tracking.
Thanks for making these drivers and lowering the min order amount, they are awesome so nice to not have a turbo timer !
