Thanks everyone for your help and support! I’m too new around here to know much about these lights, so I really appreciate the help.
My chart is definitely a WIP. Including this info is a great idea. If possible I’d like to kinda estimate how many of each out-of-production lights were made. It could be neat to see how limited some of these were, but that data may be hard to come by.
At this point I have no intention of including group buys on stock items. What I’m trying to compile is a list of the custom stuff that this community has worked to design and produce themselves.
My chart is definitely a WIP and is very incomplete. Got a link to the thread for the thrower?
Okay everyone, I’ve updated my chart with the new information, at least as much as I could, but I have a few questions.
There are a few lights mentioned that I was unable to find by searching the forum or Google. Could someone help me locate build threads or more information for these lights:
Rey X6 Ti
CNQG 2*AAA stainless steel
BLF pocket thrower
I was able to locate a thread about a BLF Mini-03, but it looks like this one never got done. Does anybody know differently? Did this light actually get built?
Lastly, a “single AAA stainless penlight” was mentioned, but I couldn’t find anything on that except this thread for an ongoing WIP light, which is on my chart. Is there an older AAA SS light that I’m still missing?
Chart updated. I’m still searching around for a few lights that were mentioned. If anybody has any additions or corrections please let me know. Thanks everybody!
I would enjoy seeing some collections of these lights. Some of the longer-standing members of the forum could have quite a few of them. Wonder if anyone has a complete set?
Thanks, this is awesome. So it kinda looks like this is where it all started - the first time BLF folks had an impact on the features of a light, even if it wasn’t officially recognized as such by the manufacturer. Cool bit of BLF history right here.
