I actually ordered one from them last week. I like my iTP A1 but I wanted an A3 because it's even smaller. And the fact that it uses AAA batteries which is a big advantage if you are going to travel with the light. I plan on using the A1 as my EDC at home and then taking the A3 as my EDC when I travel.
I have a modded solitaire, 1c tint xpg direct drive off of 10440. Pulls 1.7 amps then settles to 1.55 or so. Just a wow light as it gets hot fast. Also have a single rcr123 that pulls 3.4 amps with an xml. Can actually use this for a little while before it gets hot. Has a great beam profile to, more throw than what you would think.
The ITP A3 is one of those lights that everyone should own. Pretty impressive on alkaline & Nimh's but last week I jumped it up to a 10440 and really like it.
My romisen Rc-G2 modded with an xml. draws near 3A on a 14500 :S yikes. but its even brighter than my xeno E03 xml on 14500. a fun short-use pocket rocket.
8 cm long, pushes out 500-600 lumens... ...for about 15 minutes... if you could keep it on for that long... but you can't... it would caught on fire... ...about 3 mins absolutely max on high... ...but still fun light to have... ...not so much to use...
Bone stock would be Xeno E03 XM-L, it draws nearly 2.4A with 14500 IMRs. With choice of 3C neutral white tint and warm white 4B. 30 bucks shipped...what's there not to like. (well ok, on dim lowest mode it is still like 100 lumens, but who cares)
Up the ante a bit for length and diameter and it would be Zebralight SC600, full 3 amps discharge to the XM-L.
