The smallest-brightest flashlight you have

Just a curiosity. Think about the smallest flashlight you have. The one you think it's just a "no lumen flashlight" but when you try it you say "WOW". The one you would choose to have always like keychain or in your pocket, but with the best output you can have from a micro flashlight.

Black Cat OSRAM

Fenix LD01 running on a half dead 10440 put out over 220L. Super small aaa twisty. I need to retest it with a fully charged cell now...

Match, did you mod that light to take 10440, or is a stock LD10 good with them?

Absolutely love my quark mini cr2. Incredibly bright for the package! Wish it was XML.
Second smallest is my mr.lite j4 with XML. Probably putting 450lm out of a aa size light. Definitely has some wow factor!

Bone stock. It's one of the first led lights I ever purchased, well before all this mod craziness came about. For a "wow" light in a small package, it's hard to beat. Not suprisingly, it does run a tad bit warm if left on for any length of time. Most use is in med/low mode, but have high available "just in case"

I have a Lummi Raw it lives on my keys. It has two modes, the low mode is what you would expect from a light that size...the high mode shocks normal folk :P

ITP / Maratac AAA on 10440 [ Maratac ]

ITP A3 Eos on lithium. My EDC and impresses non-flashaholics even on alkalines.

Another vote for the ITP A3 EOS. I have the XP-G from shining beam with a 10440. Pretty much just a show off light.

Itp A3 eos with 10440

I got the nitecore ex10 from boaz and was really impressed with it i bought another off ebay.

iTP A1 EOS

Tank007 M10, bought off the streets of HK. My first 'modern' LED, it's still my edc.

I'm kinda itching to find a good clicky replacement though. The threads are so loose it tends to go off in my pocket now (and it quickly gets hot!)

Edit: I'm not sure it qualifies as a microlight. it's a bit bigger than an 18650, even after you strip the magnetic tail off.

Thanks everyone for his opinion. Seems that iTP has a great number of fan!

Smallest Maratac AAA SS BB and ITP A3 - brightest Brinyte PD03A (at least on AAA)

iTP A1 EOS Stainless steel.

I'm not sure about running a 10440 battery in the latest incarnations of the ld01. I think some the newer versions are current controlled instead of PWM regulated.

It was my Quark MiniX 123 but now it's my wife's XTAR Wk20. So, since that light is no longer mine, I guess it's still the Quark.

My Tank007 TK-703, modded to run DD from a single 10440 cell is almost always in my pocket. It gets warm quickly but puts a lot of light out for such a small sized package. It has a decent aluminum SMO reflector so it has a surprising amount of throw for such a tiny pocket light. I try to run it in short bursts only since it gets so hot and I'm sure that DD isn't good for the cheap DX 10440 I have in it.
