racoon, those Kershaws are made in China and there is no reason to believe they are not out of the same factory. I think if they were fake they would be a lot cheaper than that.
I bought a CRKT M21 on AE and I am absolutely positive that it is the same knife i would have bought from any “reputable” dealer for 18$ more.

Very nice, 76mm blade hits my sweet spot. I like knives 75 to 80mm. Spring-assisted opening, well-balanced, fits my hand well. It came sharp (I lost enough hairs testing my Gerber, so I didn’t repeat that test). Good looking knife, I like it a lot. Negatives: pocket clip is “vise-grips tight” and almost impossible to use. And the frame lock is extraordinarily difficult to open with one hand. Even with two hands, it takes a bit of effort to pry open.

A small knife with only a 53mm blade, light-weight, very EDC-able. Delivered equally sharp as the others. But I cannot recommend it because it doesn’t lock. The liner lock mechanism is a hair too long (maybe as little as 1 mil too long) to lock in the blade. I’ll have to disassemble the knife and file down the liner lock to get it to work right.
EDIT: Filed down the liner lock, just took a hair off the inside edge of the lock. The Kershaw 3800 Shuffle now works perfectly. Easy, one-hand action to open and close.
few little problems :
a coating defect (stain - kind of fading) on the blade
a little metal blur on the biggest hole of the clip
thickness of the liner not burred
Hi RC - I’ve just checked your previously supplied link - thanks.
That knife is right up my street - very attractive. I love the blackwash finish. Can I ask a question? I’m a sucker for lanyards on knives. This looks really deep carry (which I also like) but I’m wondering if there is a means to tie a lanyard onto one of the standoffs perhaps? I can’t really tell if there would be room on any of the online pics I’ve seen. I’d rather not tie a lanyard around the clip itself - the OCD in me shudders at that lack of neatness!!!
One pic I’ve seen suggests a lanyard could be looped around the actual clip fitting, between each of the scales? Is that possible?
