Reading all this information got me excited. I own 1st and 2nd generation Eneloops since 2010 and just bought 28 AA and AAA plain eneloops at NKON. However, this forum got me excited in collecting and buying some more coloured and special editions. But to collect these old ones seems quite difficult and a lot of extreme prices can be found online.
In essense, if somebody can help me out with some nice editions, please send me a private message! Paypal or international bank transfer is possible!
Hello and thanks for helping with any suggestions about where I should buy 8-12 AA Eneloops here in the USA and which model. I tried to educate myself with the wealth of knowledge ChibiM has provided but quickly got in over my head and ran out of time! I guess Iām looking for a good retailer with fair pricing. While I would like to have the pros, I canāt see spending the money when the lower mah eneloops are a better buy according to other posts I have read. Also, the lights they will go in are hobby lights ( soon to arrive (2) Nitecore EA45S, thanks to Teachers comments :+1: ) so one will sit most of the time until played with, and one for a gift. Iām sure that one will get used heavily until the novelty wears off :smiling_imp: What a fun hobby!
1.THIS is a trusted source that you can always count on. Great people to deal with and they ship fast. 2.THESE people are great also & ship equally as fast. 3. You could go HERE but my experiences have been it takes then forever to ship and their āfree shippingā is about as fast as carrier pigeon.
I have 8 Eneloops Proās I got a long while back to check them out. I personally was not impressed with them at all. I would & will never waste my money on them again. Iāll stick with the regular ones.
Howdy and thank you teacher! Thomas Distributing has the Eneloop AA in stock with free shipping. The 16 pack was the same cost as buying 3each 4packs to get the 12 I wan:ted, so I went with the 16 batteries, 2000mah. They sure arenāt cheap but considerably less than the proās. And to end up getting 4 for free makes it a homerun :money_mouth_face:
Thanks again and another beer (on me) is in the future
A bit of a shame that these newer limited editions only have four different variants instead of eight. Glitter is my all time favourite; Sanyo Eneloop, made by FDK in Japan :-).
For any Canadians looking to buy Eneloops, Costco has them on sale now (starting cyber Monday). About 25% off the regular price, which is a great deal for Canada. US might have them cheaper, but the US$ is a lot higher too, so it balances out.
Anyway, I ordered my yearly supply of AAās and AAAās, which I do every year, whether I need them or not!
Thatās odd. Every Eneloop Iāve ever bought (from 2006 onwards) has a white wrapper with blue (and grey) writing. I know thereās also special editions that have fancy colors, but Iāve never seen blue with white writing.
Costcoās been selling the light and dark blue AA Eneloops for years. The AAAās are light and dark green. I have over 60 of them and they all meet or exceed their capacity. So far theyāve been 100% reliable.
