Just found that black SRay in neutral white! cool!!! Im about ready to push the button at CNG yet I see that DRY 3 is rated 500 lumens brighter than the Skyray. Any suggestions on whick one to get first??
You won't notice the extra lumens. Go with the King. It's much higher quality and manages the heat much better. I have both. My King is CW but measures 2300 lumen OTF.

Hi JohnnyMac, which do you think does better as a flooder or has a brighter spill?
I would say the Dry has slightly better flood while the King throws a bit better while still giving tons of flood. The better design and build quality of the King still would make it my pic if I wanted a floody light.

The Fandyfire UV-S5 (= the same as the Skyray King) in action:
It did get very hot, but it was about 30°C and there was no wind.
And it was on high for more than 15 minutes before i turned it off to let it cool down.
