Solarforce L2N

anyone knows more info?

Nice!

Great. Just what I need. A new host that I’m gonna have to buy

They could have done some fluting on the head as well. I will have to buy one now

Hmmm… bulb cases

+1 LOL

been indecisive between getting a new L2 or Blue L2P to build… now I know ~

P1d looks reasonably interesting as well.

`L2N looks nice but doesn’t look like HAIII

The P1D is HAIII, so i might get that one

hopefully not only black, I want it orange!

Very nice. I was just about to pull the trigger on the new N2T-L2P/XM-L U2 combo, now I'll have to wait for more details and pricing on these. It looks like both models come in gray:

Black Gray

Black Gray

EDIT: Man, I wish Solarforce Sales would stop using their artsy-fartsy photography methods. Black background on every shot might look cool to a Sophmore Photography student but it sucks for color rendition. You can barely discern a difference on the L2n black vs gray. On some of the shots on their site, you can barely even see the flashlight... This M8 is arguably one of the best looking Solarforce lights and you can hardly see it. Sorry, /Rant Off.

Just out of curiosity, what are the benefits of the plastic body over the metal body?

That would be a good question for Foy, the holder of all things Solarforce....

I am buying both

Plastic body could take more wear / scratches?
Can be lighter also…
Both new ones look very nice. I have been without buying SF host to myself for long time…

Hopefully price is not too much over 25usd…

I am expecting Foygasm to happen in this thread very soon. :Р
P1d looks very nice, I’ll definitively take it. Not sure if I want L2N though.

Are these plastic? Kind of funny that the P1d is an aluminum version of the P1, which was a plastic version of the L2.

The body tube of the L2n says L2. Is this really just the 2012 (or 2013) version of the L2? The head looks the same, the body has finger indents, and the tail is different.

Not so cool in winter, not so hot in summer  Plastic transfers much less heat and cold. And it’s more grippy I’d say.

So, L2N is 15$ + ship and P1d is 34$ + ship :money_mouth_face:

……… got a link?
