Party YAYY!! Sweet emitters. Great prices! High CRI order placed! Should not the XP-G2 be labeled (3000K), like the XM-L2? The XP-G2 is in the E7 group, which is probably the same group as the 3000K XM-L2 (if not Z7). Or am I missing something. Thanks for getting these in stock. :)

Upon further reflection, the emitters are likely closer to a 2900k rating.

Hm…. Should I get an EA4W, or EA8 NW for my dad?

I’m sure he’d appreciate the extra run time, not to mention the extra throw would help make this his new light that he can use for everything.

What does everybody else think? A 52 year old man who likes fish, fishing and the occasional yard work would an EA4 suit him better, or an EA8? Right now he’s using a silly incan handheld spotlight which has laughable output, but serious throw to lumen ratio. I’m leaning more towards the EA8 since it has more throw.

We just received some info on the SRT3 and SRT 5. Both flashlights will contain red+blue LEDs. The SRT3 will be able to take a single (R)CR123 or AA/14500/LifePO4 with an extension tube. The SRT 5 will use 2 x (R)CR123 or 1 x 18650. We're looking at max outputs of 550 and 750 lumens for each respective flashlight.

We're looking for someone to do a test/review of these direct thermal copper XM-L2 U2 1Cs, normally I'd just pick someone but I'm short on time today so either recommend yourself or someone else and convince me of your ability to do a comprehensive and fair overview. Thanks in advance for your help guys!

Me Me!
I recommend Tom E too as we can compare our results.
I already have several of your emitters on copper to compare with. Generally my test results seem to compare to others.

Welcome the night.

I would have recommended match, but I was under the impression he has ‘retired’ from testing emitters. That status might have changed since his last few posts though.

i had the same thought, though i hope he would be willing to “calibrate” a light for us if someone will pay for it and the shipping

What are the specs for the star and when are you selling it?  I have some 20mm copper stars on order, but I could use more from a vendor that isn't so far away.

The low mode should be lower.

I recommend Tom E and relic38 for testing

Also, when the Nitecore i4 charger comes back in stock, will it be the same price, be the v2, and can I get an eta?

Or Match if he is still doing that stuff, Texaspyro, Tom E …..

Would be nice to have at least two different people doing the reviews. Smile

The Nitecore chargers we’ve been selling have always been V2s. ETA a week and a half?

Ordered.  I had to try one of those 90+ CRI XM-L2's too.  I wish those copper stars were an option.

The low mode should be lower.

We've hit a snag in our plans to release our direct thermal copper line. I'll update with news when we know more.

In your pre-order descriptions of the Nitecore SRT3 on the IS-site you forgot to mention the battery type used. (very nice looking light by the way)

Zebralight confirmed tracking of H502W and SC52W on the way to us. We placed two orders of the SC52W to Zebralight consecutively, one small and one large. The first batch should fulfill the majority of pre-orders from May to a little over the middle of June. The second batch is set to ship out next week per Zebralight correspondence.
