I just ordered one while they are still available as it is now a discontinued model. I have several old Maglites including a four cell version and decided to get a modern equivalent while they are still available seeing as how the TK60 is now discontinued and only a few places have any left. Apparently never too popular as very little information seems to be available. I guess D cell lights are considered to be dinosaurs but still hard to match their run time when modernized with decent LEDs.
Also getting a set of D size Tenergy Centura batteries for it. I already have the charger for them as I run D size NiMh batteries in my Fenix TK50. Anyone know if the Powerex Imedion LSD D cells are enough better than the Tenergy Centuras as to be worthwhile getting a set? 9500 mAh versus 8000 and about double the price per cell.
