Cheapest & Fastest place to buy 22LR copper plated ammo?

As title says, “Cheapest & Fastest place” to buy 22LR that are copper plated online? Need ammo for squirrel hunting.

I haven’t seen 22 Ammo since before we invaded Iraq the first time.

Why copper for squirrels?

Its just a film coating, reduces lead fouling in the barrel.

You check walmart… It’s crazy all the ammo is sold out cause people scared of this prez and his fruity ways. Managed to pick up some .45 ammo late last year and that was all they had

cabelas?

.22 just happens to be my favorite caliber if I am just just shooting for fun.

HAHAHAAH Walmart. I was grazin thru the ammo section the other day and this senile old man was reamin the worker lady out about some 22!! He wanted the manager, he wanted to special order, he just wanted to bitch there towards the end about how he couldn’t find 22.

Anyone ever stop to think why that is?

I have always had luck finding 22 lr at cabellas. The last time I was there I scored a case of a thousand rounds. One per customer.

I wish we had cabelas here… One thing I miss coming from back east  wdking- because it’s sold as soon as they get them?

We have a Cabela’s 30 minutes away, and they have truckloads of Ammo.

Get on these peoples mailing list—lately they been having name brand 22lr every week—sells out fast though

Other calibers seem to be coming in stock, and prices coming back down (well, some of it- 9mm is still high, but .223/5.56 is down under $.40 per round, sometimes under $.35 per round) but .22LR is scarce, and what I see is expensive. Most of my life, it was 2 cents per round!

Gander Mountain has a ton in stock in their stores. I visited 2 in different states and they were loaded up with .22.

50 BMG is the preferred round for squirrels and other small furry varmints in Texas… we grow ’em big, ya know…

Lately, I’ve been getting them at Academy Sports for $5.95 for a box of 50. Only catch is they will only let you get 2 boxes per visit.

For a 17gr bullet 17HMR destroys them at 75yds—If you miss the blow-by knocks them out

Rumor creates panic, panic inspires hoarding, hoarding creates shortages, thus proving the initial rumor true. Good work, guys!

Worse part about it, the pinheads at the big box stores buying it off the truck w/ their employee discount, then re-selling it online or whatever at a HUGE markup, fine and dandy, I’m all for capitalism, just not greedy jackmonkeys like them…they are NOT friends of the firearm community

I saw a TON of ammo at our Academy the other day…boxes and boxes of ammo, at decent prices…too bad I didn’t have the fundage to buy me a bunch of it, I need a few thousand more rounds of .22!

I haven’t been shooting in a while, gotta keep a healthy supply on hand for “the zombies”
