Been looking at this light for a few week and all the places to buy it says “shipped from China”
So yes I’m a little concerned about it and I would be from anyplace I ordered from.
Yes I read the rating thread, still took the chance. I don’t like PayPal or Ebay either But I like this light
and I couldn’t find a US distributor.
I like the Thrunite lights also. I was looking at the TN35 vs the K40M but all the reviews across the web says
they are so close in performance I choose the cheaper one.
I’m going to use this light for Jeep camping in the Nevada high desert.
No plans to mod this light. I’m going to play with it as is, maybe mod my next one.
With the link Flomotion provided I paid $79.99 shipped. So if the sale goes bad at least I’m not out a lot.

Ive got TN35 and a couple of K40M`s. I prefer the K40M, but they are VERY similar. With the price difference, its a no brainer IMO.
Welcome to the family, Velvetant! I agree with RaceR86 completely. I have both the TN35 and the K40M and while extremely similar in build and performance, I have a preference for the K40M as the performance is a tad better. Add in the price difference and the choice is simple.
It kind of pains me to say it because I'm a huge fan of ThruNite products in general with only a couple I've tried that I didn't care for. I have to give the nod to the K40M all the way.

I bought one too. Read somewhere that AceBeam is the manufacturer of Thrunite.
If AceBeam is really the manufacturer of or for Thrunite, it should take away your pains.
Actually they are completely separate companies and neither makes for the other. It's a short story filled with a modicum of intrigue but not one to share here in public. ;)
Woulde the battery charging handle of the Supbeam x40 fit on the k40m?
