to hold the 17mm FET driver I made a driver holder out of a P60 pill.
here is the Nichia M2 at 50 feet on a wall on high.
here is the Convoy S2+ at same distance and same wall. wide spot TIR optic. on high.
Solarforce L2P at same wall and distance. on high. camera is not good enough for long distance beam shots but it throws for a good distance. 1500 feet is kinda bright still.
Amber C8 at 50 feet on low. throws 1000 feet easy but i cant get a good pic. second pic is on high. my camera would not pick up moonlight mode at 50 feet.
Amber C8 at 50 feet on high. my camera also does not pick up the spill that good. this light has decent spill at close range but the main beam will hit 1000 feet. not super bright but just enough to tell. if you are using this in fog you dont want 1000 lumens anyway.
The Solarforce L2P and Convoy C8 arrive in good working condition. Got here a lot sooner than was projected. Thank you. Also got the special instruction on the C8 - it is one interesting light.
