I missed these in my earlier battery research. They are interesting since capacity seems to be quite higher even for high discharge rate. And fairly cheap too particularly if you buy them in quantities (at least 2, perhaps 4) since the shipping is $3 for first battery and $1 thereafter. Still slightly more then the blackflame Trustfire but still interesting. Main problem is the large size and perhaps the higher voltage sag.
And the perennial issue, will the next lot be as good as the last ones? They seem quite impressive just now but it'll be interesting to see the reports when my current crop of 18650s start to die in a couple of years.
If I were more worried about longevity, I'd keep all of the ones I'm not actually using discharged to 3.6V and in the fridge. However, i prefer to have the lights ready to use with fully charged cells in them, though the likelihood of my ever needing 20 of them at once is minimal - as long as they last 2-3 years I'm really not that bothered.
But these will certainly be up for consideration the next time I need cells.
The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

There really is a WOW 18650 ..
Its a protected battery , with a claimed TRUE 2600mA capacity .
Well that TRUE part was the hook for me
Dimensions = Length 2.715inch [68.96mm] Dia 0.730inch [18.55mm]
Voltage on arrival was 3.75v , and is currently being charged for some testing .
Well , I have to say Im impressed , its late = 20 past midnight !
Time for bed , but it would seem the WOW 18650 is in deed Wow !
So far all indications are , its a little bit better than average in capacity and run time ..
If all the WOW 18650 are the equal of this battery , then they would be a heck of a good buy ... And may indeed offer 2600mA capacity .
Updated:
Ive had this battery for a while now , and I have nothing negative to say about it , its on about 10-15 recharges now [ sorry dont remember exactly ] , and I use it a much as possible in a XP-G R5 light [ L2 ] at around 1.4A [ Shinningbeam.com driver , 1.4A 3mode ] and Im using it as much as possible [ when U have as many lights as I do ] .
Since the post has been removed from the other Forum , and it seemed to attract more than its fair share of negativity [ I guess nothing can be better than a ** ] .
Any how , I share the results here .. And If the battery should suddenly give problems , I will let everyone know ...
And just in case anyone is wondering :
This is my test , Im not affiliated with any manufacturer , or wholesaler etc . For what ever reason , some individuals took a real dislike to this battery [ perhaps it was too good ] , and I can not guess the true reasons for there actions , but Im not that silly . I have a clue but nothing worth sharing . [ I cant make this text black ? ]

Hey Matt, I just looked at your post history and you've done a lot of different tests since you joined them in Feb 2009. So I'm still surprised that you were treated that way.
Like you said, "they must really, really hate that WOW battery".

Welcome aboard! Its good to see you here Matt. I have followed several of your threads on CPF, including the WOW 18650's. I have more of the TrustFire Protected 2400mAh 18650's than I can count, so I haven't tried the WOW's yet. Don't let all the hostile negativity on CPF get you down. Over there, I'm continuously amazed at how many flashaholics never let their lights outdoors and believe everything they read. I guess its all about how much money one can spend on a torch and view them as status symbols. All hail the whitewall hunters! I have NO shelf-queens.
Your inputs here will always be appreciated.

Thank you for archiving those pages Nil Einne - I have actually been trying to find that page for a while and wondered why the link was invalid on CPF.
The comments towards old4570 and especially the way the whole thread was removed was absolutley appalling.
I have ordered 6 of the WOW 2600 cells and look forward to receiving them.
