C8 with de-domed XP-E2 on a 20mm noctigon. Original driver with heavy wires added and spring mod done. 2x 18650 sanyo batteries included. Tint is still fairly cool white and yes this light is a thrower.

I bought a light from 18sixfifty a long while ago. It was a C8 style, dedomed emitter, and had a weird driver. Paid $20 for it, and to me it is one of the finer lights in my collection!
I read the specs and couldn’t resist the bargain, even though I vowed here to hold off on buying anything new for awhile. I’ll get over it as I enjoy the light

Couldn’t be happier. All as described, well packed, cells not fully charged (as is best for stored or shipped cells) and individually packed separately for safety. If only GB would pack this well and sell this cheaply :bigsmile: Boy does this thing have a tight hotspot for it’s size, can’t wait for nightfall to give it a real workout.
