Ok guys I'm wanting to buy a new XM-L thrower for say $75 or around that. Here's some of the ones I am considering. And it don't necessarily have to be the best thrower out of the bunch either. I like quality as well as quanity. LOL!
Jetbeam BC40 is one that has been on my to buy list for awhile. And if I buy it I will gert it from here.

2100 has already told me about the Sky Ray STL-V2 Cree T6 from Manafont or the FandyFire STL-V6 Cree XM-L T6 which is the same light from what he said and is cheaper. I can't seem to post the link to Deal Xtreme.

The Solarforce M8 XM-L T6 I am strongly considering as well. I like the looks of it and it should be a great thrower.

I have also thought about this one even though it's not an XM-L.

And if I get more money than I am anticipating this one may be on the list as well.
Olight SR50 Intimidator LED Flashlight SST-50

I know where there is a great buy on it.
So what do you guys think out of these? The last one is probably wishful thinking on my part. But I can buy it new for aroeund $110 shipped/

This is supposed to be on of the best throwers, if not the best, Crelant 7G5
All it needs is some to be bought by someone who has other XM-L throwers. :)

7G5 VS Catapult V2
Thanks Hikelite. Ok let's add that one to the list. That ought to be a winner. I like it.

The T40CS definitely would beat the STL-V6. It is just a bit dimmer than the Lumapower with turbo head, which is like 75k cd. But not out yet.

Since you’re working with a higher budget, I guess I can throw out my favorite light the Fenix TK41, I got mine for 99.99 shipped from asavings on ebay. Its worth every penny IMO.

Ok let me ask this question because it definately will help on my decision. Out of all those lights we have listed here so far, which one will be the best thrower? That's including the SST-80 light I listed.

That SST80 is SST-50 in fact. That is not something special in terms of throw. The reflector is not enought for that SST-50 and XM-L is better anyway.

Do you want Olight SR50 with a STT-50 @ 800 Lumens Running on 6 CR123a only ? You gotta buy a battery carrier that takes 2x18650.

You've posted two SST80s I was talking about the one in your first post. Not the monster sized TF T8

Yes, huge difference, 56mm vs. 78mm head.
Yea I see that. Ok what about the bigger 78mm head one? But that may be too big for me and I may not like it. But then again I may love it.

$10? I don't know . It's $15 on 4Sevens, but shipping is free world wide.
FandyFire Stl-V6 is the clone of the M3X, and it seems it's cloned pretty well in terms of performance. Almost identical, M3X seems to have a very slight edge ahead of FF V6
