My reasoning is a ThorFire C8 at 3.2A does 38kcd.
Making the jump to XPL-HI from xml2 is a bit less than doubling Kcd. Drop a little for the 2.8A drive, if you get the newest version add a little for the AR lens and slight boost with the Cu DTP board.
I’ll know for sure in a few weeks though.
My C8S does 30120cd, or 347 meters.
I’ve seen around 65,000 lux mentioned, but can’t find the source. If I find it again, I’ll post the link here.
It should do about 60kcd without the AR glass, and the throw almost doubles at 110kcd when paired with a FET driver and UCLp.
I have one clear upgraded C8 from Simon, I expect at least 65kcd.

Hey mate just a guess but i would say about minimum is 450 meters max would be 550 i think seeing as a direct drive does about 800 meters max.

Yep…standard XM-L2, any tint you want plus a sharp knife, razor blade, or gas.
