Hmmm very interesting find. I personally like 1xAA lights. They list quite a few on their website. DX isn't offering them yet, looks like a market oportunity for Daniel @ LT.
LT hmmm. Better a vendor with cheaper prices and a good RMA policy get them.
Exact. About RMA policy:
I received a defective product from lightake. Was a pack of 4 x 10440 batteries. 3 were good but 1 were bad.
They offered me a discount coupon of !!!! 1 dollar !!!!. I sayd to them that I prefer a 1 dollar refund to my paypal account and they refuse to refund even 1 dollar. Then finally I sayd to them that why not they send a new replacement battery. Still no response but I beleive that I will not receive nor the 1USD refund and nor the replacement battery.
I beleive that with those RMA policy is not recommended to buy in that site. If instead of LT I had purchased the batteries at DX, they sure send me a replacement for free.

Exactly what I mean. With LT´s RMApolicy they should be avoided until they improve.
Lots of bad things are said about KD, DX and others, but I have never had any trouble with them.
The few problems I have had has always been solved with money back or a replacement without
need to send the faulty item back. It takes a little time though!
ITC is much better. They send a replacement right away when contacted.
Imo when dealing with HK vendors their RMA-policy is most importeant.
Very good selection of Solarforce. In fact they are registered sellers, so you get a genuine item
when buying from them, unlike LT whos solarforces are fakes.
And their shipping seems to have got faster recently or maybe I've just been lucky. The Solarforce Skyline 1 I got from them took a week from ordering which is fast for anything from Hong Kong. I just got a Solarforce L2i (3 AAA) body from them in 9 days. They used to take quite a bit longer.
I just wish they didn't ship every body with a spiky bezel.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.
Both Lightake and Focalprice have these. LT make note of what modes these have, but FP is essentially random or the same since they have about the same models?
I have the T-6 the emitter is a p-4 and 160 seems about right ,smooth reflector pretty ringy and lots of throw .Very smooth body .Very tough well built light. Maybe the best built light i own . great body.. it came from focal as well and wasn't 50$ like it is on some other site I think it was 13 ~14$ something like that .I think edi-t lights are highly under-rated and pretty much under the radar .
I also have the edi-t t-11 it's a flood to throw and not built like the t-6 . But a interesting light as well .Certainly worth the 12$ at DX.
Lightake has picked up Edi-t lights and i was excited to see that and equally disappointed to hear lightake is spiralling down as far as costomer service is concerned

I have the EDI-T T11. The anodizing and machining are good, but the assembly is kind of cheesy. For example, the emitter is only held in by a plastic ring with no thermal compound whatsoever...and the tail switch is not easily replacable. The emitter could use an upgrade, and although the driver is rather unique in it's modes and ramping feature it definately needs a mode memory. Here's the current state of mine:
i have that light too. i like it, but i agree, it could use a Q5 or R2. it is kind of chubby too, but it is a great light for $12, and it is a performance improvement over the torchlight c78's, which have been generally hard to beat for small flood to throws, when using a 14500.
I put a XP-G R5 P60 pill in mine [ Not really a P60 host ] , bit of fiddling , and some tweaks , and its a good light ..
Though the original pill/emitter did not impress , if you have spare P60 pills lying around , could make for a nice mod host

You probably already googled it and found this but here it is anyway. They have quite the selection and some of them look pretty darn good.

It's a pity the new ones at DX are all zoomables and q3. They do have some great bodies though with nice thick square threads.
Yes I did that after having started the thread. I should have done it the other way round.
But anyway, many interesting lights on the site.
Cheap quality is good - Expensive crap isn´t
Thats right. Hope DX will get some of the others from the collection. A little odd though: All seems to be 250 lumens max
except a few 900 lumens.

To each its own. Personally i don't find appealing those DX carry, but thats just me. also as pointed out earlier... emitters could be better.
They're gonna send you a green redcat with a black LED.

I agree. If you want a flat bezel you have to buy it from them for 3.72$
I think that they should let the customer decide which one he wanted.
They have very good dropins

Does the one you got have modes? Do the have real working memory (not 1 min wait before it works)?
