i mean i heard this before, and i do believe it exists, but i just didnt think i would witness it first hand, so blatantly too…

11.11 is such a scam, im sure its true for many stores, but at least for the vapcell store on AE, i know first hand it is, some stores may increase price beforehand, but they didnt. instead, they increased the shipping. i was just looking at this listing earlier today, the shipping was $1 something, i dont have a screenshot to prove it, but i remember it because i was thinking to myself, “that is really cheap shipping for batteries, damn.”, and i was gonna get it tomorrow when the sale starts. but now, with a little over 2 hours in the countdown, they increased the shipping by like 6 bucks to cancel out the sale of $5 something, i dont even know what to say anymore…im just speechless.

Can you change the shipping method to a free one?

When I search for Vapcell S4, I end up with 7 results. Each one has Free Shipping to Australia.

Seller’s Shipping is AU$1.47 for a Vapcell S30

It was AU$1.53 a few months ago. I guess the Australian dollar is better now and the price has dropped slightly to AU$1.47.

It might just be Canada…

Ask him something about it, show ur interest, and see if he changes the shipping for u too lol

I asked him if he can mix and match batteries for me, instead of 4×30Q at 59 usd or 4×40T at 63 usd, i wanted 2×30Q and 2×40T, and i was expecting a price in between, but not only did he change shipping cost, he tells me that would be 87 usd. So…ya forget it, not gonna buy from vapcell store again, so shady

Tempted to get the T50 even though I don’t have any 21700 flashlights… out-of-stock Sad

I think I ended up paying more trying to do a custom order via chat on AE when I bought 4× 14500 H10’s. It would’ve been slightly cheaper if I got them during a flash sale on Alibaba a week later. Then again, I won 2x S30 during a livestream GAW on FB and that was included in the order. Smile

Vapcell were doing a buy 6, get one or two cells free promo a month or so ago.

Nice! Big Smile Did you use a clamp meter to check? Would the T50 heat up quickly @ 24 A?

Yes, clamp, with tailcap removed. It's not like it would be left for minutes on running at that power level, so I'm not concerned. On max/turbo, these kind of lights simply can't handle much beyond 30 secs. The light will be much hotter than the cell.

This is a definite jump up in batts. Like the 30Q, VTC6, LK 5000, GOLISI, or even 30T/40T's - game changer, for the time being at least.

Now, can we buy them? smile

Dennis - I like where Vapcell is goin as of late. The tech, testing, etc. Just got to work on price and availability.

Couple pics of this rare cell, yes they do exist! I like charging slightly over 1/2C, so charged these at 2.8 amps, as shown:

Thanks for the link. I did ask Vapcell AliExpress and they mentioned it’s out of stock, not sure when will restock. Sad

Was hoping to grab a few during the 11.11 sale.

Also, kudos to Vapcell for now having some shipping option for batteries (there is some shipping fees, but at least there is a shipping option now to my country — whereas before, Vapcell AliExpress “does not deliver” to my country. Although I notice, some batteries in the Vapcell store will still indicate “no shipping method” to my country… I ordered some Vapcell H10 14500, hopefully the order will not get cancelled, or ask me to pay “additional” fee for shipping to my country..

Depends which K1. The K1 SBT90.2 is wayyy different from the OSRAM's. The K1 SBT90.2 will do best on a 30T for max output, but not last long. I think it's a good choice though for the SBT90.2 because of it's decent high performance and longer runtime.

For the OSRAM's, It's a good choice for sure. I would think it should keep a higher level of output longer. Won't make a difference in the first couple of minutes on a freshly charged battery, but in theory, should produce higher amps during the course of draining the cell.

So it all depends on your usage scenario, what you want, and what version K1 you have.

I think it's the best all around 21700 cell on the market today, well, if it was on the market that is...

Maybe Dennis can tell use if it's the Samsung 50T or not -- would be nice to know. The 50T isn't available anywhere also it seems.

These things of rewraps can get confusing, like made in the same factory but not Samsung branded, etc. Might be quality/rejection differences on the final product, etc.

Ohh, also depends if it's a modded K1 SBT90.2 or not. If you added spring bypasses and replaced LED wires with thicker ones, you could get over 20 amps. Probably with the stock K1 SBT90.2 it would stay under 20 amps. My modded K1 measured 24 amps on the fully charged T50, but of course that drops fairly quickly.

well i would be getting osram, so i know that should be enough, but for sbt tho, i thought 20A is also enough right? stock of course, not modded. thats why i thought this would cover all k1 emitters.

20A should be enough, yes, but 30T's are the lowest resistance cells on the planet, so you will always get max amps on them on straight FET drivers and high performance LED's like the SBT90.2. I got 19 amps on a 40T on my K1 SBT90.2 when it was stock.

The T50 really should be the best cell for the K1 OSRAM's - should produce peak amps for the driver/LED combo for the longest time.

I'd buy 6-8 more if available, just for my own use, but I'd still like to see HKJ test results. He tests a pair, so at least we'd get some feeling of consistency.

hm…interesting, hank suggests 40t, i thought that was the best overall, cuz i would think his recommendation should cover all emitters, namely sbt

i bought some 50G for it, for osram, u think its good? cuz i saw 50E being recommended, and from what i saw in HJK test, 50G is just a slightly better version of 50E, right?

I wasn't aware of the 50G. Yes, looks superior to the 50E for sure. Limited availability.

Crap! I got so many obsolete 21700 batts now...

Where did u buy? I see stock on the Vapcell store here, dunno why they aren't flying off the shelves.

I'm gonna order 4 now before they go away. At 4, $7.50 each shipped, not bad.

Ok so can someone clarify something for this old fart?

When ordering on the AX store, there is an option for 1 piece button top or 2 piece button top. What is the difference? Does any of these come with a protection PCB?

I’m confused.

On 11/11, I wanted to buy some batteries and ran into trouble. When I had everything together, I saw there was shipping on each battery added to the cost, inflating the price to something not very attractive. Sorry, I haven’t read all postings in this thread so don’t know if there was a solution. Did I do anything wrong? I’d like to use the next opportunity this month, probably buying not as many batteries as I got some meanwhile elsewhere, but still a few.

Smile, you cannot kill them all.

Hi Unheard

You can contact Ali-express customer service and tell her you are a BLF member

She can give you a better total fee

Because of the high freight rates in some remote countries, customer service personnel have added extra surcharges

Express platform can’t help customers save the freight of multiple products intelligently

Therefore, it is better to communicate manually

Thanks
