It looks like the body of the post hasn’t appeared. Not sure how that happened.
Anyway, I soft press 10 or so times until it does a “buzz” but it just seems to go onto a pulse, it doesn’t do one flash, then two flashes, then three flashes etc. If I soft click again it counts out 5 flashes constantly. So I don’t know what to do.
It sounds like you’re only engaging bike mode, not getting into the programming mode. When you half press one more time, it goes to the battery check. Keep half pressing until the light looks like it’s off while you’re pressing the button, then stop. The “buzz” should last about half a second or so.
It’s brand new from the Convoy shop on Aliexpress. I did say this when I posted the first message but the message body didn’t appear for some reason. It just arrived today.
I guess you need to reach 20 clicks instead of 10, according to specs!
Initially they were 10 clicks with old Biscotti drivers, but now it changed.
Try and see what you get :+1:
I still can’t get it working even with 20 clicks. What makes it harder is one of the modes looks like it’s off but then it starts flashing - so how are you supposed to know when you’ve reached the right point?
Have you checked this video?
It was made from Simon of the Convoy Store.
It shows the 10 clicks driver (old version). But it also shows how the light is supposed to behave in terms of blinks to enter the configuration.
The amount of time the flashlight blinks (from 1 to 12) tells you in which group mode you are. If you want 3 modes (1-20-100%), let it blink 5 times. If you want 1 mode (100%), let it blink 12 times.
You just tap hard out really quickly and the light will go to moonlight on every tap once you’ve reached config. The non biscotti version goes into moonlight level not off.
