Hi This is our first post on BLF, here I would share the new upgrade products and sales to ensures that everyone can keep abreast of the latest developments in Olight’s products.
Welcome to BLF. Can the proximity sensor be disabled in the Warrior Mini 2? The Warrior Mini (1) is a popular light for light painting photographers and the proximity sensor would make it unusable for light painters as the light is placed in a connector.
The last compact Olights have terrible, terrible green tint. This is the reason I didn’t buy the Warrior Mini 2 and the Baton 3. I already have the green-ish Baton Pro and the ultra-green Warrior Mini 1. No more, please.
Even the tint on S2RII is way better than the last ones, how did that happen?!
Yeah I think S1R and S2R have the same LED, correct? I don’t have the S1R, only the S2R II - the 1150 lumen model.
While being very cool white, at least it doesn’t have any weird tint like purple or green. Much better when using the lower modes.
I’m glad ZeroAir’s review came out a day before the Olight sale, so I could educate myself and skip the WM2. I can live with the proprietary batteries, but no more green BS for me, thanks!
I guess both S1Rs have XML2 U2-1A leds, cool white but, indeed, with less green that the SST40 of the OWM!
Even the M2R Warrior has better tint (although with some shift in the beam).
I like the OWM very much and I would also prefer it had a NW or even WW led. But that’s the thing as someone said above, Olight sticks to the CW leds and the “efficiency” and we get eye weirdness. UI is great for me, but not the tint :zipper_mouth_face: :confounded:
And not being easy to mod…is even more painful :weary:
