Ever since I got my new phone I noticed they are using high CRI LEDs as flash/light. I wonder if anyone ever tested them to see what kind of Ra and R9 they are putting out. Every time I shine it at my skin it always seems very rosy/red like. Even pictures look a lot more colorful. I believe they are some high quality LEDs, but can’t find any info online about them.

Indeed impressive that Apple is able to accomplish that. My kids (young adults) don’t have a desire to have flashlights due to their iPhones and now they’ll eventually have excellent CRI. Doesn’t seem fair!
Uhh that’s actually very nice! I own a few high cri lights but for some reason skin tones are never as perfect as with the iPhone light. Indeed impressive. Thanks for the referral.
