What you got today

Vinhnguyen54 L3 Illumination K40 De-Domed XM-L2 6.5 Amps came in today.

I just got my latest shipment in from FastTech a couple of days ago. It took them five days to ship (including a weekend). My package shipped out on August 8, and I received it on August 12! Only four days in transit, that's a new record for me...

"Gillette" Razor blades: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1289102

3W LED bulb: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1396501

5W LED bulb: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1396306

7W LED bulb: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1396304

3W "E12" LED bulb: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1107900

Firstly, the E12 (US candelabra) base bulb, which is standard in ceiling fan fixtures, has been discontinued since I ordered. The bulb I receive is actually an E14 which doesn't help me. I've escalated that to Fasttech support; we'll see if they will give me store credit because of the incorrect description.

The remaining three bulbs are all very nice, far nicer than any of the budget bulbs I purchased and reported on previously. I ordered all three in the cool-white tint as they were intended to be for utility lights, but the 5W was accidentally shipped in the warm tint. All three of these are very nice, and put out a lot of light. They are ones I could actually use to replace incan/CFL bulbs for normal use. The warm tint is very nice without the greenish cast of the typical generic warm egg-yolk emitters in my other LED bulbs. I'm really happy with light from these; I'm just hoping they will have a long lifespan. The tubes enclosing the LED arrays are actually glass, so these will be fragile.

The razor blades appear to be a decent copy; I was able to locate a typo on the side of the package (I doubt Gillette would accidentally print their product name as "ProGlisw"). I shaved with one last night though, and got good results. I'll have to use these for a while to see how long they last compared to my usual Mach3 disposable blades. Compared here with a genuine ProGlide Power blade (mouse over for the genuine blade):

My latest Fasttech order just arrived today (order placed: 7/24/2013, shipped: 7/26/2013, arrived 8/14/2013) and I received the following:
1x https://www.fasttech.com/products/1340301
5x https://www.fasttech.com/products/1203601
1x https://www.fasttech.com/products/1059401

Since I have to head out to work soon I only got to play around with the last item which I am extremely happy to report worked out exactly as I intended to use it and will be ordering another from Fasttech in the very near future:

Its a little bit tight fitting around the head of the light and is a little bit of a challenge to get into the sleeve but easily slides out like it was made for it! I would say this is about 90-95% perfect fit for the BTU imho and for $5.36 how can you go wrong!

I got 2 lights back from Vinh…. The K40 looks like a bad ass thrower but…. The TK75 is unbelievable!!! When that bad boy comes on you know it!! :open_mouth:

I got 3 fixed blade knives, an AAA flashlight, some Panasonic 3100 and 3400 Protected the wife ordered by mistake, a couple USB chargers and a couple lighters, and the wife got a bunch of e-ciggy stuff.

A bit disappointed with the JM26, some very sharp edges, if I had it in my hands prior to buying I wouldn’t bought it…
On other hand, K40 is a blast  I am VERY glad that I ordered 2 pieces :stuck_out_tongue:

Pictures or it never happened.

The “mail lady” delivered my new Jacob A60 this morning. I have popped in a charged Trustfire flame 3000mAh and I await the darkness.

I have been with you guys over six weeks now and I have aquired:

Ultrafire WF-502B Lightmalls
Ultrafire SK-68 clone Amazon/Fordex
Jacobs A60 AuraBuy
Nitecore i4 V2 Lightmalls

My wife usually rolls her eyes when I show her my new plunder, however she asked to borrow one of my lights last night. That’s a good sign right? Or is it a trap?

I am thinking of getting an AAA size for my pocket next month. Maybe the Thrunite Tis…… a 2nd one for her also…… yes that’s the ticket.

You will know when she returns the light

I would recommend something like Olight i2 or i3 eos in red or purple collor, no way she won’t like that

I got a blue Xeno E03 with a Nichia 219 from EDC+. I love that LED. I was worried the 219 would be underdriven on a AA, but it is quite decent. The flashy modes are nicely hidden. Not crazy about the MLH mode order without memory since M is the one I use the least, but you can’t have everything. I have a couple of other lights with 219’s that I modded, but none are working right now, so it’s nice to have that should just work all the time. Two days from California.

I got another 2 “Multi-Layer Coated HD Flashlight Lens(28mm*2.0mm)” from Kaidomain.
And 25ft of glow in the dark paracord for £2.09, free P&P “won” in an auction on ebay.

I got EagleTac TX25C2 XM-L2 U2 from nkon.nl.
6 Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mah group by from Wallbuys.

I got four free Trustfire 14500s from Old-Lumens .

Thanks , Justin .

finally got my FF4 along with spare bulb, lens and battery holder today.

I got 4 drop-ins from Vihn today. I got a XML-L2 1-mode, XPG2 1-mode, XPE2 1-mode and a mule.

Weighting for me when I got back from Denmark: an Inova micro red; 7 three color keychain lights from FastTech, 3 of which are very bright and 4 of which very dim; and several Titanium Innovations button lights from Battery Junction, 2 UV, 2 red 2 white one green one blue, all very nice. So far they don’t turn on in my pocket.
The T. I. UV light are significantly brighter than the ones like the three color ones, from KD. They seem about the same wavelength: the ratio of brightness for glow and non-glow surfaces is about the same.

Nice rikr. Are you doing any type of write up on them?

I got my TN31 back from Tom E. He did his magic on it. I also got a Vinh TN31 and they are to close to call. I got a Maelstrom G5 mod by Vinh.
