Fasttech - interesting new products - Flashlights, chargers, batteries and DIY and knives - please no discussions.

But……
Fast tech has a link on top which lists new arrivals by date already…

I did not realize that they did this…this is great. I generally just search on “nitecore” daily.

That is cool, love browsing new and weird stuff. This product was on the new page, kinda threw me : https://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10004115/1300800-stainless-steel-handpalm-odor-remover-lasts-forever

Talking Tom Cat, is that you??

Looks like fasttech filled my request for this cool little knife. Cheapest price I can find too.

Thanks, totally awesome… RR’d J)

I’m glad to see FastTech getting more knives, but they tend not to have a lot of detail about them like blade material and hardness. Any idea if we could convince people to add this data?

Also, unfortunately, FT doesn’t yet carry most of the knife models I really like. I should probably figure out how to use their product request/suggestion system I’ve heard about.

More info would be nice. Most Sanrenmu knives are 8Cr13MoV anyway. Some 9Cr13MoV.

Great price . Ordered a couple .

Thanks for the heads-up .

I have the 5A version on the way.

Me too , The 5 amp one. Although I don’t even know what I will do with it. I have only used P60 drop in’s so far.

Good one Relic. Fingers crossed that it works as intended.

Has anyone looked at the protection on these cells?: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10001980/1141104-panasonic-ncr18650b-protected-rechargeable-3400mah Seems to be a very good price for ncr18650b 3400mAh if the protection is good.

I wonder why the TM15 cost so much from them? I can get it locally for $208 delivered and the TM11 was selling for $141 delivered, yet their TM26 is the same price as locally; I don’t get it.

I read that some dealers complained about FT prices on nitecore, but we all know several local dealers that play the “game” themselves too with discounts not out in the open in an effect to make sales.

Frankly I can’t blame them, I think it’s ridiculous that nitecore tries to dictate to a dealer what they must sell them for. I call that price fixing, the last time the gasoline companies did that, they got a huge fine from the government; the market place rules the price.

What’s up with calling it “MAP” manufacture asking price?? notice the word “ASKING” maybe it should be called “MDP” manufacture demands price >) The real term though is called MSRP, at-least could they get that part correct?

Has FT raised their prices because of nitecore contacting them? it appears they have done so.

MAP is minimum advertised price. Retailers can price items lower but cannot display the price openly.

Thank you for clarifying that, as it’s not a term I’ve heard before.

No Lock :frowning: …I would be interested if it was locking.
