Bunch of lights, only one with XML2 :~

This is a FT thread, but still: http://www.ebay.com/itm/151107377424

I have ordered a pair LG 18650D1 for 8.50$, i had these on my watchlist for long and the price is really low. I am a bit confused why they offer them for 8.5$ and for 13.5$, I dont see the difference.
Sad that there is no official datasheet for them…

Just asking..

WHich set of Resistors is the best to get for Flashlight mods?
I don`t want to buy 100 of the same kind.. I rather like to have sets with different values..

10-1M ohm $1.22

150-3.6K

1M-10M

3.9K-62K

62K-910K

Just get the first one, 20pc each x 20type (the $2.28 one) - that’s enough for most of my mods.

You still need some low-resistance/higher wattage ones too though, and these should complete the collection:

Total $4.27 - and I think 95% of the time you can just grab these and get to mod immediately

Yeah, there is no way it’s the real deal but it still looks like a decent quality knife. I’m getting one to try. Hard not to for that little money.

FastTech? VapeTech? FakeTech more like.

hi, some great new xtar gear at fasttech

https://www.fasttech.com/search?XTAR

Including the new Panzer that has adjustable current from 0.25A-1A. $32.60, $30.97 after BLF discount.

Will probably get one of those sets then.

Thanks

XTAR XP1 and XP4 are so tempting!

hi, just bought an xp1 for £5.60 with discount and upgraded shipping

The XP1 doesn’t have the ability to act as a portable phone charger and it’s quite low charging current too. ;_; WP2II/WP2S might be better but they are bigger.

hi chloe, ive purchased it mainly for the 0.25amp charging rate for my 10440  it does do 0.5amp too (good for my aw imr18350)

Ahh I see. I was thinking of it for 18650/26650.

I've been wanting a solid portable charger like the XP4 for use in the car and camping trips. Being able to use it as an external USB power supply is icing on the cake. If it can charge all 4 cells at 1A I would not hesitate to buy it immediately but with only a 2A supply it probably only charger 2-cells at 1A each and for 4-cells just 500mA each. Does anyone know for sure?

  • AC charger: AC 100-240V~50/60Hz 0.6A input, DC 12V / 2000mA output
  • Car charger: DC 12-14V input, DC 5V / 500mA output

Why can't anyone make a charger that does 4*1A charging?? Especially if they use an external power supply for it.

Well that 2A output is at 12v, so I believe it can still handle 4A at 5V. 2A * 12v = 24 watts, while 4A * 5V = 20 watts.

I sure hope you are right, Garry. It’d be awesome if it did 4*1A charging. I’m just waiting for a definitive answer. Thanks!

Oh, congrats on the 4000 posts!
