Maximum temperature raise at different discharge currents: 1A:+1,4°C, 2A:+3,7°C, 3A:+5,9°C, 5A:+11,1°C, 7A:+16,2°C, 10A:+21,9°C,
The performance between the two tested cells is fairly consistent. There is a minor capacity difference, but the voltage during discharge tracks very well.
Conclusion
I got these batteries without any description or specifications.
The test shows that their performace is good.
Note: The test does not show how well they will age.
Notes and links
The batteries was supplied by Don from BLF for review.
How do you think these compare to 2nd gen eneloops? I started all this about a month or two ago when they were on offer at Amazon. When I received them I realised that they seemed, physically, identical to the eneloops. So I put up a deal alert.
Thanks for this HKJ. I bought some of these on the strength of Marcl’s recommendation here. and your test seems to confirm that they are good cells. I’ve subsequently bought a Contour charger and 4xAA’s pack from iCell media - the same Amazon retailer where these came from. Good value at £8.19, even though I bought it to give away!
Edit>> knew i should have concentrated on my post, rather than watch the snooker!
