Deal alerts for Banggood.com - BTU Shocker, SolarStorm, Olight, XinTD...

Well, there are pros and cons of this design but one thing is certain, there is a lot of players on the market and it is hard to find new ways to diferenciate your products from everyone elses. Also, I didn’t heard that Olight screwed something up lately (if ever) so, maybe it’s time :stuck_out_tongue:
Btw, it looks like this battery has 3 contacts so I would say that there are 2 positive contacts, one seen on next picture and outer ring on “negative” side and one negative contact, middle circle on “negative” side…

Im guessing here …but since they use a rewrapped Panasonic for the 18650 instead of getting Panasonic to specifically make it for them, this 26650 is maybe a KK or similar.

And if it is, the shifting (or addition) of the positive terminal to the same end as the neg is done via the wrapping or similar design. So that would suggest there is an insulation layer between the makeshift (+) and standard (-) tail end, and that would need to be pretty substantial to not wear through for example over time. I think. I dont know how much wear that part gets, but I do recall people posting about wrapping coming free and needing to rewrap. I know I have some nimh here that have the edges of the wrap splitting and peeling bits off.

Depending on spring size too, I wonder how it would go if someone popped it out of the Olight, and popped it into a Convoy for example. I guess it would just trip the protection and have them scratching their heads.

The have just listed DQG Spy NW. Available also as CW version.

Coupon BLF works, bringing the price down to $45, but I already contacted Neal and asked for a better discount.. Let's see what he answers.. ;)

Bonsai Kitten:

http://ding.net/bonsaikitten/gray.html

Well, no, Bonsai Kitten is a bad joke, you can easily put a plastic mold around any fruit and have it grow into it without any major issues. But, the plant you buy from them will produce normal fruits unless you do the work. Kind of like if you purchased a “seedling of a bonsai tree”, which will grow as a normal tree unless you do the work of trimming and working on it daily.

KeepPower batteries (not sure if they are genuine thou):
16340 CR123A 700mAh Protected $5.99
18500 1500mAh 3.7v Protected $6.99
14500 800mAh 3.7v Protected $5.09
18650 3000mAh 3.7v Protected $8.59
26650 4500mAh Protected $12.29

they smell like cherry , lime, blueberry, licorice, and lemon

Banggood listed more Keeppower - with information which cell is inside. Most of the batteries are tested by HKJ (link to his comparator), but he tested only the 2600mAh Sanyo, not the 2600mAh Samsung.

Keeppower 14500, Sanyo UR14500P, 840mAh price $7,99

Keeppower 18650, Samsung ICR18650-22F, 2200mAh price $5,89 (I think not the best choice)

Keeppower 18650, Samsung ICR18650-26H, 2600mAh price $6,99 (26H aren't old stock Samsung - most shops sell unprtotected 26F or 26FG which are older)

Keeppower 18650, Sanyo UR18650FM, 2600mAh price $7,99

Keeppower 18650, Panasonic NCR18650 A, 3100mAh price $8,99

Panasonics NCR18650B, 4 of, arrived in Australia today, it took less than 4 weeks. All test at 3.6X volts. Not to sure about the packaging though. Each was in a plain thin plastic bag. And the 4 placed in a very slightly padded envelope.

IMO delete it. Helps no one to tell it.

Could be Chinglish. :stuck_out_tongue:

Out of context, this may seem bizarre.

Some more Keeppower:

Keeppower 18350, 900mAh price $6,59, 38.20(L) x 18.45(D)mm
Keeppower 18500, 1700mAh price $8,39, 52.40(L) x 18.50(D)mm
Keeppower 18650, Samsung ICR18650 28A,
2800mAh price $7,12 --> need 4,3V to be full charged . If you can charge these only up to 4,2V the Keppower 2600mAh are better for most flashlights. Take a look at HKJ compartor.

Keeppower 18650, Panasonic NCR18650 A
, 3100mAh pair: price $17,58 (a little bit cheaper as you buy two of the single cells)

They appear to be visibly identical to the Convoy S2+ which is also sold by Banggood. I have an S2+ (as well as an S2). It’s a nice form factor for pocket carry. It is about 115 millimeters long, like the original Fenix E35.

Wolf Eyes aka Super lens zoom lens
