FWIW, I got a UPS tracking number that so far only shows a label was created for my UT01 order.

I ordered 1 CW, and 1 NW on the GB. Should have them in a few days.

Now, I'm curious as to which types of 14500 batteries to purchase as I have none in that size. Button or flattop? Protected or unprotected? Does it need an IMR to be able to reach 800 lumens?

And lastly, I just got my first LiIon charger with my OTR M3. Will that charger work with IMR batts (basically, do IMR's need anything special to charge them or will pretty much any LiIon charger work???)

I would recommend flat top IMR unprotected cells .

If you have access to Efest 14500, go for it :smiley:

Thanks for the replies about the batteries! Another question to narrow it down a bit...

For about the same price give or take 50 cents, I've seen;

Efest IMR, Red label 700mAh in both button-top and flat-top.

Efest IMR, Purple label 650mAh flat-top (specifically listed as high drain)

Efest LiIon black/gold label 800 mAh flat-top unprotected

Any thoughts as to which ones would be the most appropriate for the UT01?
