I have the original Skyray triple X the reliable one. I use it on my bike occasionally with this mount it is absolutely sick the Low setting is more than enough Medium and High are ridicules overkill, but so awesome buy this mount and amaze your friends.

Thank you for the suggestion. I actually have 3 different mounts on order from Manafont and that is one of them. I look forward to trying it out with the new hoss triple. The P-Rocket just arrived in today's mail and I had a chance to try it out in the yard. Looks like it's going to be a nice thrower for the helmet. It has a very nice combination flood/throw with a warm light.

Ordered another 18650 aspheric Zoom Cree Q5 from a different supplier.
Saik Sa9 / Citipower SA9 etc.
They are slightly different builds, different color batches and on high mode run about .8 amps, slightly underdriven .
Hoping I get lucky and get one driven harder and noticed one has a silver reflector around the LED.
They have a very long throw in focus mode ( I read about 250 actual Lumens in sphere test ) and I may have one or two modded to about 1.5 amps on high mode to see if they will throw 400 to 500 yards plus the way the Deft EDC does-.
If anyone knows where to get glass lenses for these I'd like to try a few.

Here's an image of the aa or Li- ion smaller version with a Cree Q5 aspheric - I use the 18650 versions but I'm quite sure these will kick a$$ with a Li-ion for a small light with lots of throw.
a uniquefire c10. i was going to buy a sf masterpiece thrower but decided to buy this instead because of already depleting my christmas budget. hope it turns out to be a quality light. the sf is a no brainer as far as quality construction. we shall see!

why a AAA when I have the others?:
I carry my quark AA tactical (with 14500) alot (always in its holster) but there are times when I am not wearing a belt and it gets left at home when I leave for quick errands in non belted pants and realized I always have my keys with me, so I decided I needed a true EDC and hence the search for a good AAA light for my chain.
why the ITP/Olight/Maratac AAA universe?:
Cause they have the excellent runtimes on low for zombie apocalpse situations or being stuck in a car or elevator, etc. have decent runtime and brightness on medium levels, as well as a nice high level for situations that need it.
why an ITP A3 over a maratac AAA if they are so similar?:
The ITP A3 R5 version doesn't have the noticeable (to some people) pwm that the previous Q5 version had, which the maratac AAA unfortunately has as well, although i like that the maratac AAA can tailstand freely and like its look better than the ITP A3
why an ITP A3 over an Olight i3 if they are so similar?:
2 reasons:
1: I like the centered keychain attachment of the ITP A3 versus the side attached attached ring on the Olight i3 and forsee myself occasionally putting my itp on a lanyard to hang from my neck and want something that will hang without any weird tilting against my chest.
2: I like the reversible clip on the ITP A3 if I wanted to clip it to my cap and use it as a headlamp whereas the Olight i3 has only one orientation for its clip.
why a stainless steel version over the other colors?:
The stainless steel should hold up better against looking worn than the other aluminum anodized versions against my keys as people have reported happening.
Hope my reasonings can help others with their decisions.

Balder BD-2 - No particular reason, I don't need it, but it is just a beautiful light and I decided I had to have it.
Yezl Z1 - Again, no reason, just thought it was a budget alternative to the S-Mini, which I've had my eye on for a while. Should be a good helmet light for biking.
Yezl 501 - Hard to pass up a $5.99 light, might make a good EDC.
Klarus Bike Mount - This baby helped me get my order up to $99.72. Like this style mount and this one swivels!

I have an Eagletac D25LC2 on the way. I received $50 in gift certificate for Amazon and my thought was to buy the best sub $50 torch I could find on Amazon.
The light is very versatile with an operating voltage Between 2.7v - 9v, this 108mm twisty runs on 2xcr123, 2xrcr123 or 1x18650. Max output of 344 OTF lumens (with low of 3 lumens) with really good runtime using a XP-G S2 emitter. Nice UI with blinky modes tucked away...I couldn't find anything "better" under $50.
I expect Night Breaker will have his well before me since I didn't order until the 26th. Even though it was marked as shipped the 27th, I'm not getting my hopes up to see it much before the end of January. Oh well, it's something to look forward to.
