I have the titanium version of that little Wuben light. It’s a nice, tiny light. I’m pretty sure it uses the same charging board, and driver* as similar lights from DGQ, Jetbeam, etc. The Wuben packaging makes for a nice gift box.
- driver is just a metal dome switch and two current limiting resistors. When you tighten the light down part way, the contact from the charging board makes contact with the dome, creating a closed circuit through one resistor. Tightening further causes the dome to flex, and connect with another contact on the PCB, closing another circuit path through a second resistor, cutting resistance and upping current.
